Question about Acer Aspire SA80 (ASA80UC4603) PC Desktop
I have a Acer Aspire SA80. It gets to where windows says starting up then reboots itself. I have tried F12 and going to last known good start but this doesnt have any effect. Ay suggestions.
I suggest that some of the Electrolytic Capacitors have failed on the motherboard. The ones surrounding the processor, to be more specific. These are Voltage Regulators for the processor.
Computer unplugged from the surge protector, computer case open. Touch the metal frame of the computer case, to relieve your body of Static electricity.
Take a flashlight, and look at the Electrolytic Capacitors.
I know. "Say What?"
I advise you to go to this website, and see what Electrolytic Capacitors on the motherboard look like, and what they look like when they are failing,
(If this doesn't come up as a link you just click on, copy and paste it into your address bar, then press the Enter key)
This link is to a video on YouTube, that shows you what failing capacitors look like, relative to the one's used for the processor. Also tells and shows you why your computer restarts.
