Question about Linksys Wireless-G WAP54G 802.11g/b Wireless Access Point
My son brought his pc with us on a recent vacation. He used the hotel's wireless internet service, but when we got home he could no longer access our internet connection via his Linksys PCI card. In fact, even though I physically removed and reinstalled the card, it still does not show up under the hardware profile. I also uninstalled the software that came with it and reinstalled it to no avail. Any ideas of what else I can try?
Run a viral check on the card, as the fact that the malfunction occurred while on a public hotel's wifi,
leads me to the belief that you have been hacked with a keylogger.
Just to make sure, you might want to obtain another PCI card as a check, since you have already done everything I would have suggested, including reinstallation, and thereby have eliminated all but
the internal functioning of the card as suspect.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
