Re: Loud speaker

Hold the talk button in for a few seconds (about 3 or so) it should go to speakerphone.

Step3- Once you do that you will get the following options: browser, calendar, level 1 messages, messages (email addy), messages (desktop), messenger (alert), messenger (new message), MMS, Phone, Push to talk alert, push to talk message, SMS text, tasks.

Example: Loud (click the button to the left of the trackball and you will get several options like: browser, calendar, level 1 messages, etc.

Step4- Click on the one that you want to case of the ringer, it would be phone. then it gives you several other options like out of holster, tune, volume. You would go to "tune" click on that and change it to what you wanted your ringer to be.

For the first time ever, when dialing or receiving calls they go through fine but I cannot hear or be heard except in the speaker mode. I went to Applications, Profiles, and tried changing the options...

In this case check the volume of you're Handheld.
If it is low, Increase the volume and check still if it is not working you need to walk into the service center to check the speaker of you're Handheld.

Loud Speaker not activating

You open the mobile and check speaker by multimeter.
if it is damage than replace it.
or if it is right then solder on the speaker tips,
then it is working properly274ef25.jpg

People can hear me but i cant hear them

To confirm that ur speaker is dead try to speak in the loud speaker mode. If u happen to hear them in loud speaker mode but not in the normal speaker mode then its confirmed that u need to replace ur speaker unit.

Loud Speker Not working in Radio FM in LG KU990 VIEWTY

unfortunately, this option is not available on viewtys, however - if you bring up your phones keypad and dial 3845#*990# (don't press the call button after) you'll be presented with test mode, use the cameras jog wheel to scroll down to FM Radio test. Now, if you're lucky - you'll find a VERY strong radio signal that the viewty can pick up without the headphones in, and it'll play it through the speaker. But otherwise, you have to have the headset in to get a good signal, and if you have the headset in, there's no option what so ever to divert the radio to the speaker. So Sorry, but the radio can only play through your headphones unless you're lucky with test mode. (press the "C" button when in test mode to return to the home screen)

I don't have any ringtones on my phone or I am looking in the wrong place.

1. Go to 'setup'. SELECT IT.
2. It has the first option as 'Ringer Alert Style'. SELECT THAT.
3. You will find type of alert styles like: Ring Loud / Ring Soft / Vibe and Rig Loud etc.
4. Select the ringer type you use (You will not get any ringtones on silent or vibrate mode).
5. Select Edit. You will now find options of ringtones.
Hope this solves your problem.

-mate JAM Pocket PC Problem

Try putting in earphones and check. Sometimes the contact inside the earphone jack jams against each other and then the phone thinks there are earphones plugged in thus bypassing the speaker.
