Another way to locate it, is with the bike on the kickstand, look underneath of it from the right (brake) side. The oil drain plug is on the front of the square looking pan under, and to the rear of the engine. The oil drain is the plug on the front of that pan, on the left (shifter) side of the bike. The trans drain is on that same square looking pan, but towards the right side, and faces down. It screws in and out vertically, whereas the oil drain is horizontal
I don't have a picture, but the best way to describe it is if you are on your primary side, there is a drain plug on your primary, then the next drain plug in, about four inches, is your oil drain plug.

On your Ultra, the oil pan is on the bottom of the transmission. If you pull the oil dipstick, you'll see that it goes down into the pan located under the transmission. The engine oil drain is the drain plug nearest the left front of the pan or in the middle of the pan. If the bike is on the side stand when your drain the oil, I'd pull the plug in the front so that all the oil comes out. If you pull the one in the middle, you must stand the bike up straight to get all the oil out. The transmission drain appears to be the pipe plug in the front of the oil pan. Go to www.bikebandit.com and pull up this drawing. It will show you the pan and the gasket. Notice the gasket closely, the hole down through the front of the pan looks like it goes to the transmission and the other plugs look like they are for engine oil. The plug you pulled out is the drain for the cam chest, I think. I'm not a Twin Cam mechanic but I'm pretty sure that I'm right about that particular plug. You probably didn't get any more than a couple of ounces of oil out of that area. http://www.bikebandit.com/1999-harley-davidson-flhtcu-i/o/m1173#sch145241
The oil tank on your ElectraGlide is on the bottom of the transmission. The oil drain is usually the plug closest to the left front corner of the pan. Loosen the plug just enough to drain a bit of oil out and look at it. If it's engine oil,it should be black. If you loosen the transmission drain plug, it will be much cleaner looking oil.
The oil tank for the engine is located on the bottom of the transmission. There are two drain plugs under the transmission. The engine oil drain is the drain plug closest to the front left of the oil pan. Slowly remove the plug and allow just a bit of oil to drain out so you can identify it as engine oil. It should be black, not clear. The engine holds three quarts of oil in the tank. Add the oil and then check it with the dipstick with the bike on the side stand. The dipstick has two marks on it. The upper mark is "FULL HOT" and the lower mark is "FULL COLD". Do not overfill.
the oil drain plug for the motor oil is the one on the front of the oil pan that is under the transmission, it faces the front of the bike and is a 5/8 head. the one that faces down on the right side of the pan drains the transmission. the primary drain plug faces the left side under the derby cover,it is a #40 torqx wrench.
The oil pan is on the bottom of the transmission. Look under the transmission and you'll see two drain plugs. The one closest to the front left corner is the engine oil drain. The one closest to the center is the transmission drain.
No oil pressure isn't good. Sounds like an air bubble may of got in the system. Try this to prime the oil system after an oil change. Pull the spark plug wire off the plug. Now turn the motorcycle over and see if you can prime the oil system. This should cycle the air bubbles through without harming the engine. If that doesn't work, try draining the oil again, and prime before you start. If none of that works, your oil pump may have fail.
The oil tank is on the bottom of the transmission. There are two drain plugs, one for the engine oil and one for transmission lube. The engine oil drain is the one closest to the left front of the oil tank. The drain that is more in the center is the transmission drain.
the crankcase drain plug is under the engine, but the skid plate is covering it, thats why you dont see it. oil changing is done by removing the drain plug of the oil tank
