Re: no power

Slight change in capacitor value does not make much differnce so do not worry your just green light indicates that there is a problem in green cathode circuit. check for green output supply check for loose in connector ckt from chroma ic to cathode regards thanks

No pict. power button blinks

Chances are you have a bad flyback and two bad electrolytic caps and a retrace cap gone bad. At its best you may have bad grounds under the H.O.T. And that would be under this transistor next to the 100 ohm half watt resistor a coil.Unsolder this coil clean the board contact and replace this coil!

Tv will not power up

These sets are bad about the flyback transformer and/or the horizontal output going bad. Have a repair shop check it out. This can be pricey depending on how much is bad.

Ws-65819, No response, Not even the blinking green light

To repair damage--you understand the foil at each connection is copper---you have to scrape some of the green coating off near the parts and solder the exposed foil---idea is to solder a wire across any gaps to complete the circuit.

Got it?

Turns on light comes on but no sound and no picture

verify your b+ voltage on collector of horizontal output transistor 7405 and if 130 volts is missing or way off go to power supply circuit and verify voltage on pin 14 of ic 7511 and if there is not approx 150 volts present should replace that ic and startup capacitor 2511 and opto isolator 7513. if 130 volts is present on collector of 7405 then scope signal on 7404 and if not clean signal replace micro processor

Tv wont turn on -- stand by light just keeps blinking

This is very common problem for sony. Blinking light is power supply problem need to replace two voltage reulators in supply and caps and sometime horz output.

Sometimes if you adjust screen voltage adustment on flyback just slightly it will fix it.

cost if ps is 225.00
screen is 95.00

Thanks doctor video

Philips 32pw9544/05m 32" tv stuck on standby blinking!!

it could be bad solders but U could have a bad Horzontal output Transistor or even the regulator IC could be bad. If U know how to check a transistor go to the Horzonyal Transistor and check it. You could also have a bad cap in the power supply
