Which GE model do you have ?

It sound like you have a blocked pump.
Remove the pump from the machine and check where do you have this clogged, inside the pump or in one of the pipes connected to it.
Bail and sponge out any water in the machine's tub before removing the pump.

Bowl capacity is 5-6 kg.
