my laptop cannot connect to dlink 615 router. It was working fine when first installed, but after about 3 days, connection was a problem. I reset the router to default settings and reinstalled the software. Connection was restored but again after a few days, connection was again an issue.

This is an intermittent wireless connection problem. If you have a cordless phone there, that's the main problem. If none, you need to change the wireless channel of your router to 11. You can do that by opening the router's admin page. If that didn't help, you need to update the router's firmware. Contact Dlink support for more details on how to update the router's firmware.
