When I use any internet radio chats, it says "Windows Media Player cannot find the file. If you are trying to play, burn, or sync an item that is in your library, the item might point to a file that has been moved, renamed, or deleted." I only have Windows Media Player 11 on my computer and I using Windows 7 for the operating system.

SOURCE: Error message when I try to play a cd,dvd or rip

Before we try blaming a faulty cd/dvd unit lets check out faulty Windows Media Player Software. Is Media Player up to date? Try installing iTunes set as default. That will force the cd/dvd association to iTunes. See if the player works or what the error is...If it works...Then re-open Media player make it the default again and see it what it does. or This is from the Microsoft site: Windows Media Player cannot find the file. This error message usually indicates the link from an item in Media Library to its associated digital media file is broken. Items in Media Library are links to digital media files that are stored on your computer, a network drive, a removable storage card, an Internet server, or another location. Links can be broken for one of the following reasons: * A link to a temporary file from the Internet cache (for example, a file from the Temporary Internet Files folder) was added to Media Library and that file was later deleted. * A link to a digital media file was added to Media Library and the file was later deleted. To repair a link Do one of the following: * If you deleted or moved the file, replace it to its original location. * If you moved the file, right-click the item in Media Library, click Error Details, and then enter the new location of the file. To delete a link Do one of the following: * Right-click the item in Media Library, click Error Details, and then select the Remove file from Media Library check box. * Right-click the item in Media Library, and then click Delete from Library. Good Luck, Tim

SOURCE: syncing with Windows Media Player

Place the music files that you want to transfer into the My Music folder of your computer - Windows will re-read them, and then you can synchronize to your device. Also, make sure the hold/lock switch is not engaged on the mp3 player - it probably isn't, but just check.

That is an error that is thrown out by Windows Media Player if it cannot locate the file, You might of accidently deleted it, moved it or renamed it. Try to find it and put it back into your library.

Sync

make a folder on your desktop, copy the files that you want from your 'music' folder, and paste them into this folder. Then copy all of the files in the folder you just created and paste them into your mp3 player. Open the mp3 player in 'my computer' and just right click and paste. Your music files should go over. Once you are happy delete the folder from the desktop or keep it for further use.

LEXAR MICROSD

Do you remember what the name of the card was before you reformated it? Do you have the files that were on there before the reformat?
Windows Media Player is probably just looking at it as if it were another piece of media. There is no distiction between removable and hard disk. Now that that disk has been archived in Windows Media Player and it's directory structure cataloged it is looking for that same setup.
Recreating the volume as it was, might fix the problem but you will loose sorta the functionality of a removable media card.

Windows media player not working

Very the file you are trying to play is still there , if it is then create a new play list by allowing WMP to scan your system for playable media. If this fails or the above aint the latter then i'd suggest you uninstall WMP and reinstall it. WMP is in the control panel / add or remove components / Windows Components. You can also log in to microsoft web site and download the latese WMP and install it .
