HOW TO UNLOCK CHILDLOCK?
well my 2 year old grandson who i was playing games with on my bed, was leaning on the remote for my sansui TV. ironically the feature of childlock suddenly appeared on the screen, preventing me from watching the tv. since then i havnt been able to watch any television and been wondering how to unlock the damn thing without having to take it apart. is there any reset button? or is there any way to reset it at all?.. most likely though, im wondering if theres a way to unlock the childlock?.. please i need assistance.

- just looking at another person's problem, titled 'permanent lock', however after trying the solution it didnt work. But the remote i have is the original, ive got both an 'M'-button and a 'Mute'-button, however i don't know which is the function button, ive got all these different sorts of buttons, like 'D.C.C' and 'I.P.C', 'Nicam/A2', and all the standard channel, volume and numerical numbers. still having problems figuring this out. my problem is the same as user-'pooka1491', black screen with 'child lock, please unlock' written over it in orange.Same Problem

I am not sure if this solution will work, but I posted the manual for these TV's.
If you call their toll free number during a weekday they may be able to help you get it fixed.
