I can't understand ur solution.My problem is Laptop touchpad not working.(Means not scrolling and not clicking on desktop)
If you know the proper solution then pls proper solution.

My curser/mouse is stuck in the middle of the screen. Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your interest, Kathy
I had the same problem till 1 second ago, but after reading the redletter's solution, that is, Pressing Fn and F7 at the same time, the mouse is working perfectly. Thank You So Much : )

It's quite possible your touchscreen ribbon cable has dislodged from the motherboard. You'll need to carefully open the case and inspect this. If your not sure how to do this, then I too would suggest the repair center.
Another option may be your drivers for the touchpad have become corrupted, or your touchpad has been disabled in lieu of you using an external mouse... please check this also...
