Sounds like you have the White Pattern turned on. Find your documentation for your TV and look it up. Should be an easy fix.

I have a vp42 I have sound but no picture nothing black like it didnt turn on. I can hear it but cant controll the sonud.

Hi,
I would check to confirm that all cables in the back of the TV and other items attached to the TV via cable are all fully secured into the sockets, push them to make sure they are fully connected.
Next I would suggest looking for a source button on the side of the TV and going through all the different inputs to make sure you are on the right one. Also confirm that all the devices are turned on. If this fails to work check to confirm on any channel that a picture will appear, even if it is white noise or other information text displayed by the TV it's self to make sure the screen panel is not broken.
Thanks,
Ash.

I have no picture but hear the sound of the system on my tv

It could be 3 things:

Your tv connections are disconnected and need to be replaced. See if anything else works when plugged into these connections.

Your cable cord could have a disconnect internally and the cord needs replaced.

Your graphics card on you XBOX 360 is shot any you need to replace it.

Good luck and please rate my solution accordingly.

High pitched noise

The power supply is starting to fail on your LCD. The noise you hear is because the circuit is trying to provide the proper power to the rest of the circuitry and is forcing itself.
The noise does increase if you tune to an HD channel because of more demand for power for a brighter picture.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

Picture freezes Black/White

It's most likely the digital board, Samsung p/n# Bp94-00385a but I'd trace test both the digital and analog first before blindly replacing it - too costly to just guess..

P61927 troubleshooting white noise

a similar problem was discussed here a while ago, ill quote from there: "This problem may occur when some TV's are connected to a volume control converter. To correct this, decrease the TV's volume until the buzz disappears. Now use the decoder/converter volume control and increase the sound to a comfortable listening level." hope it will help.
