When I purchased my phone the small memory card was already inside the phone. However I can only store about 2 mp3s and 5 pictures then it says the memory is full.
Do I have to activate something so the memory card works??
Also what is the bigger memory card for (Micro SD Adaptor)?
No, copy your music to the memory card rather than storing it on the phone. you must do this in 'My stuff' folder, select 'sounds' select the mp3 then click the bottom left button (details), then press 'file', then 'move'
To view the moved files goto 'My stuff' folder, select 'sounds' then in the top right corner you will see a picture of a memory card. press this to see swith to view the external memory.
I have the same problem but i cant bluetooth any thing coz it keeps say memory full wen the memory card has nothing on and also it keeps saying it wen the phone hasnt got the memory card in can yuu help me plz
You can get an external memory card called "microSD Transflash" Its available for approx $20 for 2GB, $$45 for 4GB and about $80 for 6GB. I dont believe the 8GB card is out yet. Check Ebay, or sumply google.

Have you checked the manual for any assistance? You seem to be following guidelines appropriately and I'm unsure why your still having difficulty. The proper way to sync music files is a simple as copying and pasting.
The phone will always store data in the small internal memory when you transfer something to it...you need to enter the file mamager and move the files to the memory card. It is a small annoyance of the Prada. I personally just use an external card reader...so much easier and faster.
I have posted information in 'hints and tips' regarding media files (pictures mp3s etc). The first thing to remember when sending files to your phone is that they have to be done one at a time as the phone memory is limited. The phone has a memory card inside it which is extra/external to the phone memory. What is confusing is that you cannot send files directly to this memory card so each file you send to the phone has to be moved to the 'external memory' before you send another to the phone.
Yes I agree the manual is not too helpful which is why this forum is buzzing! I have posted information in 'tips and tricks' regarding media files (pictures mp3s etc). Regarding email; you need to call your service provider and register with them. Then ask them to send the relevant codes and instructions to set up picture messaging, email/internet. Their instructions should be pretty easy to follow as they gear them exactly for the lg prada phone menu settings.
All the best.
I had the same problem... when you go into MP3s in My stuff, look to the top right corner and you will see a little tab that looks nothing like a memory card, well that's your memory card... touch that and it will take you in to see what's stored on your card! =)
Well, if you transfered files from your PC to the phone, they must be there. 2 choices they must be in the phone memory or in the Micro SD memory. Access "your items" on the multimedia menu and search for them alternating on the top tab between the 2 memory spots. If the files are compatible with the phone you'll be able to see/play them.
