Video wont show

This would be caused by several things.
1) bad power supply causing the computer not to start
2) bad video card
3) bad monitor (does the monitor light come on?)
4) other component bad--disconnect them all except the CPU, memory, and video card and see if you get an image.

My computer turns on but my screen wont HELP NOW

please check on cables connecting the monitor to your tower/cpu. make sure both ends are plugged in tight. check on the monitor power light aswell, if its blinking or not, if the monitor has been more than 5years old too, its possible thats already dead computers have a life time too especially the old models.

Screen said please check video cable connection?

This is an indication that the monitor is not receiving a video signal from the computer. Check both ends of the video cable - both the connection to the monitor as well as the connection to your computer's video card, and make sure that both are secure. If the connections are secure and the problem persists, buy a replacement video cable. If that fails to fix the issue, try swapping out a different video card.

My screen doesnt get a signal from the computer what could be wrong?

There could be three reasons for the same .
1. Loose signal cable: Check and reseat the VGA or DVI cable from the back of the system tower to the monitor.

2. Bad monitor : Disconnect the monitor cable from the back of the monitor check if the monitor displays anthing .

3. Bad video card : Try connecting an alternate monitor to check if the same is displaying anything on the screen.

Blue power light on but no display on monitor

Have the RAM checked. Or if you can do it yourself,
try cleaning the RAM as shown in the image below:

If problem persist, try another (good condition) RAM. If it works, then you'll have to replace your PC's RAM. Hope this helps.

Constant beeping when powered up, no display

If the beeping is constant, check your keyboard for any keys that are stuck in the depressed position.

I have intel d865gbf mother board with 256mb RAM.but in computer properties it shows 240mb only ,plz help me to increase it to 256mb.thanks

Hi there your system is showing right only. this is because the motherboard has an inbuilt video card which will take some amount of the ram to utilize it as vram or video ram. your motherboard is taking 16mb of video ram.
this is a natural thing. there is no need to worry.
and you can decrease this to 8mb or even 1mb. but is not recommended as the small video size cannot support video playback and also gaming.
this 16 mb of memory is used to display the images to the monitor screen to which you are viewing.

if you want full details.
just do this
go to start -> run -> dxdiag
in that if a checking dialog box appears for whql checking.just press yes.
then go to display tab and see the video sharing memory in approx video memory and also several details will be present there.

hope this helps you.

Monitor went dark

Most probably the memory module(RAM) has gone bad. With a bad ram no display comes on monitor. Change the RAM and see the result.
