Question about Gateway M-6340u PC Notebook
What you are doing is OK. The problem is when you re-start the wireless card has lost it IP address and when you switch it off and on again the router issues the wireless a new IP address.
You can also get the router to issue a new IP address by right click on the wireless Icom on the Task Bar and left click on Repair.
