Question about KitchenAid 24 in. KUDS25SH Built-in Dishwasher
We have a Kitchen Aid dishwasher that came with the house when we bought it (house is about 16 yrs old. I have no instruction manual. the model says KUD?255HWH1 and serial is FK168725.
lately when I do a load some of the dishes don't get clean and there is a gritty film on some of the dishes. Is there some sort of maintenance I should be doing for the machine?
Popular Science or Mechanical Ill. recently suggested to take the drain cover at the bottom of the unit off and use a shop vacum to clean and clear out the sludge and accumulation in that section it may **** up and solve the problem,at least it is worth a try.

The problem is hard water. www.dishwasherfilter.com has a new product out that solves this problem once and for all. it filters the water going into the dishwasher removing the hard minerals that leave those spots. it is very affordable and guaranteed to work or your money back. you will love the way your dishes look.
