My xbox360 powers up with a green light from the middle and thats it , it don't work or connect to the controllars (not wirelessly or by the usb port) . and the four circling light don't work .please help

switch the xbox off and if you have any hard drive etc connected to the xbox or usb devices disconnect them , then switch it back on while holding the sync button, the one you press to pair the controllers with , hold that for 30 seconds and then release it, see if it will show up on the tv. If it still wont show anything on the screen , check all cables, borrow one that you know is working to try on it. if that doesnt work try another power supply. The best way to test it though is to take it to a friends and unplug there xbox and use their leads and power supply to see if yours boots up. Another check you can do is hold the sync button in and press the eject button , if an error is happening the ring of lights will change , you need to press eject 4 times, without letting go of the sync button, each time you press it the red lights will come on, code is as follows

Four lights =0
three lights = 3
two lights = 2
one light = 1

so if you get 433

then your secondary error code is 033

reply with what your error code is here

The lights keep blinking but nothing is happening. It wont connect to the console. What should I do?

It's possible the xbox 360 controller isn't connected to the xbox 360. Turn the xbox 360 on by pressing the power button, and wait until it reaches the dash board. Then press the controller syncing button on the xbox 360 itself and wait until the xbox 360's ring lights start to spin around. Then press and hold the synch button on the controller (located near the charge port) and the controller should synch up with the xbox 360.

We can not connect the controlers to the xbox 360 but they will connect to others can you help with this problem??? we recently got it fixed because it had a red ring

Turn your system on and turn the controllers on, when the controllers are blinking the four green lights, press the small white button to the right of the second memory card slot. The 4 green rings around the power button with rotate clockwise. Now press the small white button next to the left bumper on the controller. Both the system rings and the ones on the controller will blink in unison and that controller will be connected to that system. Repeat for as many controllers as you have. Hope this helps.

It will not connect to the console

have you synced it ??
the little button on the top of the controller (where the fire buttons are) ....press it (which will make the green ring (around the 'X' button on the controller) rotate)....you then need to press the sync button on the front of your xbox elite with-in a couple of seconds of pressing the button on ur controller... this will also make the green ring (around the power button on the xbox) rotate for a few seconds until both player '1' lights illuminate on both the xbox & the controller :-)

hope this helps ?

Controller wont hook up with console ?

Is this a new controller?
Are the batteries new/recharged?

This is the sequence summary on where you are going to focus:
Step 1 - Controller
Step 2 - Console
Step 3 - Console
Step 4 - Controller
Step 5 - Both

Assuming your controller is a wireless version, Lets start!

Step 1 | Press and hold the Xbox Guide button until the controller turns on. The Xbox Guide button is the round button with the green "X" near the center of the controller.

Step 2 | Make sure that your Xbox 360 console is turned on. If your Xbox 360 console is not turned on, press the power button. The power button is the large round button on your Xbox 360 console.

Step 3 | On the Xbox 360 console, press and release the Connect button. The Connect button is the small round button on the Xbox 360 console.

Step 4 | On the controller, press and release the Connect button. The Connect button is the small button on the front edge of the controller, between the left bumper button and the charging port.

Step 5 | After the Ring of Light spins and flashes one time on the controller and on the console, the controller is connected. The quadrant on the Ring of Light that remains lit indicates the position in which the controller is connected.

Light indicator on console
Green light in the center- power is on
Green light on one quadrant - controller is connected
Four green lights rotating on four quadrants - ready to connect with controller

Light indicator on wireless controllers
No lights - no batteries
Green steady light on one quadrant - connected
Blinking green lights - its either its ready to connect or the batteries are dying

*Make sure that you have a fully recharged rechargeable batteries
*Make sure that you have a functioning/new non-rechargeable batteries
*If the steps above aren't working use another Xbox360 controller and follow the same steps.

If the new/working controller is connecting with the console this means that the previous controller is faulty - needs replacement.
If the new/working controller is not connecting with the console this may mean that the console is faulty - needs repair.

*NEVER TAMPER WITH ANY OF THE TWO AS TAMPERING WILL VOID EXISTING WARRANTY.

Help with xbox 360

try pressing and holding the bluetooth button on your 360 while doing this turn your xbox on and keep holding until it boots completely even if it does not make it to the boot screen just keep holding it until you think the time would have passed for it to boot up. power off your xbox. wait about 5 minutes and then reboot believe me this little method fixes alot of the xbox problems so it makes me wonder if some of the error codes are really correct. one more thing i strongly recommend the use of a cooling device for the 360 which ever one you choose
