I had the same problem... go to Fiji web site... type in what happens.... they have a list of fix-its. There is aownload that you put on your desktop then to your camera... pretty easy. Hasn't totally fixed the problem but MUCH better.

GOOD LUCK!

When trying to take pictures this apears on the sceen. !AF

My Fuji E550 manual says this icon indicates the autofocus cannot work effectively under the present conditions. If your image is too dark move to a distance of around 2m (6.6 ft) from the subject. Alternatively use AF lock to take the picture.
My thought -- might try taking the shot even if dark and lightening it extensively in a post production program like Picasa. I never discard a dark shot until I've tried this -- with many good results.

Dark pictures at times on auto is there a fix? Camera Fuji s1000

when you think that there is less light or whn you are taking a picture indoors or during night times under auto then reduce the ISO acordingly like if the lighting is of the indoor lighting then you can place the ISO at 80-200

if outdoor and during night time 80 or below and so on depending on the light conditions

the lower the light the lower the ISO
this would increase the shutter time though improving exposure quality

happy clicking

Pink and Black in natural light

It sounds like the light sensor on the camera is malfunctioning. Try cleaning the sensor. If the senor doesn't work at all it will not be able to tell when the camera is operationg in bright light. Kind of like having your eyes dialated and walking outside on a sunny day.

My pictures are black i cant see anything when i try to take a picture

Your pictures will usually come out black if you're taking those against the light. Check the lighting or your flash (esp. when it's dark - flash is needed). You should know if your camera is for indoor or outdoor use.

Fail to take outdoor picture

There is a known "bug" in the earlier S1000 models. You would benefit from a firmware upgrade which is available as a download from Fuji's website. The Canadian site is www.fujifilm.ca . Just look for support and firmware downloads. You can find out there which firmware version is in your camera, and the upgrades, with what they correct.

Camera freezes after taking picture

I had this problem with my s1000 Fujifilm, but solved it by changing the standard SD card for a SDHC class 4 card. It no longer freezes when a flash is used! I've tried a 4Gb and a 16 GB SDHC class 4 card and both are fine.

No picture when its sunny outside colour is distorted inside its a jvc digital cam gr-d33ag

On several camera the ccd is sensitive to bright and causes the images to come out very dark or out of focus because the auto focus sensor is being blinded. Try taking pictures with you back towards the sun and try turning off your flash this some times helps out. I hope this helps you and happy photo taking.

CANON Rebel RTI Outdoor pictures are dark

learning to use light metering correctly can have its challenge.
the manual will guide you on how to set up to read light from the subject. spot metering a dark area will cause general overexposure, or a washed out look. spot metering a bright area will cause a dark image. if you are on spot meter and shoot two people standing together against a bright lit background, your meter will see between them if they are centered, and read all that bright background, setting the camera to a less sensitive combination of aperture / shutter speed, resulting in a dark image. use field averaging meter setting and be sure you are metering the subject and not the background. try shooting a wall that is fairly clear of other colors and uniform it light hitting it, you should have a correctly exposed image. since it works in other modes (at least 1, anyway) then it is unlikely you have an exposure compensation issue. that is the only other non defect issue that would cause your problem.
once you confirm that you have these settings correct and still get a dark image, its time to have it serviced.
good luck

Not enough info given. Is it daytime, inside, outside, sunny, etc etc. Have you read the instruction manual's troubleshoot section? BMW
