Question about Computers & Internet
My daughter recently changed her login password and then for some reason wanted to change it AGAIN, now she is unable to login at all saying incorrect password.we have tried both passwords without success. she has a windows vista home basic laptop.
First thing you can try is:
1: When booting up the laptop Press F8 until you see a screen show that has an option to boot in "Safe Mode"
2: Once it has finished booting up you can Select Administrator and hopefully there is no password set.
3: If there is no password set then login as Administrator and goto "Control Panel", Select User Accounts and change your daughter's password to something she wont forget ;p
if that fails then you can try this
Offers a program that resets your passwords.
Hope this helped.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
