Cd rom. on comp. dont work can idown load software on line somehow

Spend about $35 to purchase a brand-new CD/DVD reader/writer.

Or, take a USB memory-stick, and the product CD/DVD disk, to another computer.
Copy all the files from the media onto the memory-stick.

On your computer, use the files on the memory-stick to install the software.

I lost the cd that came with my trio t3000 mp4 player and i am trying to find the driver online.. do you know where i can find it? we are running win xp pro.

no driver needed - just connect it to the pc and it will appear in My Computer as an Removable Media: copy/paste all the music, videos, photos, and text files you want directly in it.

I've used this software successfully for several years. When I try to burn to CD I get the message "Cannot write to disc > write error (ASC/ASCQ OC/00)". It suggests possible reasons as "recording...

In my experience this is usually due to several things.1: a coruption in the burning software, a re- install fixes that. 2: a dirty or cracked lens on the writer itself. Pop the tray open and visually inspect the lens a crack will be obvious, dirty lens won`t be. Take a q tip and some iso propyl alcahol and gently swab the lens leave it to evaporate naturally about 2 mins, then try again. If no result you may need to take it to a shop for further diagnosis. These are the easy steps you can do yourself.

Not able to burn CD

If you have a desktop PC, try to replace your CD Writer / Burner or return it for replacement if there is still a warranty.
