Question about Kenmore Dryers
To the right of the dryer is the heater assembly. If any of those components are OPEN (no continuity) then you will have no heat.If all of that checks good then to your left is the blower housing. It has a control thermostat mount next to a melting type fuse. if any of those limits on that heater assembly fail to open then that skinny white fuse melts and kills the power to the motor and when it stops then all power to the heater is killed throught the centrifugal switch mounted on the motor. Clever scheme ain't it. If the motor aint going you will never have power to the heater.
