Put a 12 vt test light on your 12vt output to see if the alarm is outputing, some alarms have to be programmed for positive output as some are negative output ie;set up to hook up to horns. Also double check your earth.

My car alarm siren will not go off

You have a wiring issue, bad ground, incorrect relay, loose connection, faulty alarm horn... start with the alarm horn as they often fail due to debris build up and corrosion issues at the internal/external contacts... then check ground and make sure the circuit you added is on its own fuse and is not just jumped from another circuit... The siren has two wires: connect the red wire to a fused battery source. Connect the black wire to one side of a two wire toggle switch. Connect the other wire of the two wire toggle switch to a chassis ground. Now you can control the siren by applying the ground when toggling the switch.

Alarm is armed but when door is opened no siren

Is there power to the siren? Are the lights flashing? Can you choose to have the siren on or off? If the lights flash and there is no power to the siren it may be the controller. If you have power to the siren then make sure you have good ground at the siren even if you have to run a ground wire from it

Volvo s80 alarm

Have the codes read out for the vehicle. It is likely that the siren for the alarm is causing the false alarm. If the siren is bad, there will be a code set in the central electrical module. (CEM)
