My Kenwood KVT-815DVD says the same thing, that a cable is disconnected. I took my car to the audio shop that installed my stereo. They checked to see if any visible cables were disconnected and there wasn't any. They tried to reset the unit and that didn't work either. My warranty expired a few months ago which left the audio shop under no obligation to troubleshoot or fix the unit. They couldn't tell me at that time what the problem was or that there was even a cable disconnected..

There is a large 20-30 pin VGA cable that goes betwen the display unit and the hideaway tuner module. It is the most likely suspect.

First, please check all USB cable connections, unplug and re-plug the cable both at computer side-port and printer side-port.. Then, check if USB cable is good. If you are sure that's all alright so the logic board of the printer may be faulty. Overall this is about connection problem. Good luck.

Hi, Please remove the Battery from the cameraand give a look inside the battery compartment. Use a spot light & makesure that place are clean , the battery connector pin are not bend , broken orrusted. After that insert the fully charged battery and try to turn on. If itsnot turn on then its confirm the camera internal power supply unit is faulty. For few reasons this problem started.1. Theconnectivity cable from camera to Circuit board damaged or disconnected.2. Thepower supply transformer stops working & need to replacement.3. turnon button connection may disconnected. For the confirmation all you need to visit a camera repair store. Withoutvisual survey technician can't confirm you which one of them is faulty. Thankyou

My HP 6500 printer will not switch on although power cable is connected & I have confirmed power is on. This follows a move, when printer was disconnected.

Try reconnecting a control panel. In the video below, we show how to fix the control panel, there you will see where the ribbon cord needs to be reconnected. Also, check the logic board connection if this doesn't work.

"Check signal cable" appears on the screen. I have disconnected

The cable that connects the MONITOR to the COMPUTER is loose or disconnected. Check the monitor cable at both ends. (not the wireless switch, router or modem).

Harman kardon drive and play, does not load ipod screen just says please wait and has the numbers 02,1 in the bottom left corner

The error code mentioned above usually denotes a communication error a between the Drive + Play’s display and the commander knob. The first thing to check is that the commander knob is fully connected to the Drive + Play’s electronics enclosure. It might seem very tight, so giving the connector a twist while pushing it in can help ensure there is a complete connection. If you’ve confirmed the correct connection of the commander knob to the enclosure, then check to make sure that the commander knob cable isn’t pinched. Please refer to page 8 of your owner’s manual to confirm that you’ve routed your cable correctly. Then try a reset of the Drive + Play by disconnecting power to the brain, disconnecting your iPod, and disconnecting the display. Reconnect them in the following order: display, power, iPod. If you’re still having problems please consult with your dealer/installer or email us at [email protected]
