Hi! I had the same problem and was able to repair my TV. The defective card your mentioning is the ZSUS card (Part number 6871QZ030A). You can find one on EBAY for about 120$ but please try not to get any pullouts from working tv's since it would be ashame for you to repair it only to have it burn out again in 2-3 months. Try to get a card that's new or refurbished with some sort of warranty and guarantee. Hope this helps!

Is there a way that anyone can tell me where the fuse panel is on a RCA Model #: R52WH74 television?

There is one fuse on the AC filter board which is where the power cord is located. Just trace the power cord back to where it plugs into the circuit board on the right side when looking in the rear you will see the fuse located right next to where the cord plugs in on that board.

I have a sharp aquos 37 lcd and one day I turn it on and hear a pop sound and it went dead no power

Normally this is indicative of a faulty power supply circuit inside your TV.

The easiest way to test this is to remove the rear access panel on the TV and replace the power supply circuit board with a new one.

You can find a replacement circuit board on Ebay by searching for your TV's model number.

Here is a link to one currently available for about $100 plus shipping:

http://cgi.ebay.com/DPS-178APA-Power-Board-Power-Supply-Sharp-LC-37D43U-/260814504762?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item3cb9c1833a

Just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and highlighted text just above. This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information and items at the website indicated.

The repair / replacement procedure is not extremely difficult if you have some basic electrical safety knowledge and some basic electronics / mechanical repair skills.

You will need to unplug the power cord from the unit, lay the TV screen side down on something soft and flat like a bed, and then remove the rear access panel or the entire rear cover as required in order to access the circuit boards inside.

When you remove the rear cover and access the circuit boards inside, just check the part number that is printed right on your power supply circuit board itself and confirm that it exactly matches the one provided in the Ebay listing.

Then unclip and remove the various electrical wire connectors leading to the power supply circuit board. Then remove the screws securing the circuit board to the TV frame and then remove the power supply circuit board. Be sure to avoid touching any large capacitors on the circuit board which can retain a nasty charge even after the unit is unplugged.

Then just screw in the new circuit board and connect all the wire bundles to their appropriate connectors on the new circuit board and then replace the rear cover. Then plug in the power cord and test.

One other thing you can check is to see if there is a fuse fitted on your set.

Some models will have a fuse holder compartment accessible from the rear of the set right where the power cord enters the enclosure. If your set does not have one of these, then the fuse may be located directly on the power supply circuit board itself.

Try testing that fuse for continuity with a voltmeter (with the set unplugged of course). If that fuse has failed, then it will test OPEN. If you are lucky, you may then just need to buy an exact replacement fuse and then install / solder that into place to correct the problem

I hope that was helpful to you, good luck.

Joe.

Was watching tv and it shut off on its own and will not come on. No light on power button. Tried unplugging still no power. Could this be a fuse? If so where would it be located? I am a maintenance tech at...

The AC Input board has the fuse on it. Its located right next to where the power cord plugs into that board. Follow the cord up into the set ( right side looking in rear small board up front behind the green small signal board)

I turn the tv on and there is a constant buzzing sound what is it?

Hello
If the picture is correct in all resepect, and only a buzzing sound only comes from its inside circuit, it will be due to a loose core fittings, on any one or two ferrite cored transformers inside the power supply sytem. There are transformeres of small and large types, both in power supply and other boards. We have to find out which transformer makes this buzz sound during working. For this, you have to open your TV, and power it ON, and listen the the sound carefully, and detect the transformer which makes this noise. After finding the exact one, this loose core contact can be fixed with the help of Super Glue or similar fast acting adhesive. Just put three or four drops of adhesive in between the core will rectify your problem.
If there is no picture at all and a buzzing sound like this is heard from your TV, the inside circuit has some short in it and has to be detected and rectified. OK>

Panasonic plasma th42ph10uk power red light blink twice

Manual says problem with SC, SS, or C boards. SC is large board at left when facing rear, SS is large board at right, and C is small long board at very top. You could check fuses on SC and SS. Also, SC and SS should make a buzzing noise(not too loud) if operating. If a fuse is blown, suspect that board is bad not just bad fuse. Search parts at encompassparts.

you need to test the large connector from the powersupply to the circuit board inside the computer. You should be reading small single volt numbers. More than likely its a bad powersupply though.

Buzzzzzzz

Hello to all you buzzers, I have the answer to your problem. First this is what's happening. The buzzing is coming from the power relay. It vibrates at 60hz because the power supply filter capacitor is not doing its job hence you have a rough d.c. pulse going to the relay. To solve the problem remove back of t.v. slide circuit board out (you will have to disconnect white wire from degauss coil, located on left front) look for a blue box approximately 3/4"x1 1/2" this will be the power relay. Now look for capacitor location #c622 near the relay. This capacitor should be 470uf 25v. Remove and replace with 470uf 35v capacitor, connect white degauss wire temperarily put back on and give it a spin. Hope this solves all the buzzin, robert
