Solenoid on one station, sprinklers on another, cant turn both on

I have a solenoid with it's own valve connected to the main water supply, where I turn the water on and off. I have a separate valve on my sprinklers in the front yard. I was told each valve should be wired to a separate station. My Orbit timer only allows to turn on one station at a time. When I turn on the station wired to turn on the water supply, I can't turn on my sprinklers, what can I do?

My lg refrigerator lsxs26326 is dispensing water but not filling ice tray up. What could be wrong?

the water solenoid valve for the water dispenser is separate from the icemaker water supply solenoid valve . get to the icemaker water supply solenoid and test it if it works alright . unplug the fridge from wall outlet do not close water supply valve. disconnect water tube connection on the water discharge side of the icemaker water supply solenoid valve . pull - out power supply connection of the solenoid coil . connect solenoid valve directly to wall outlet. a faint click should be audible and water should come out from where the tube was removed -- from the water supply discharge side. if no water is coming out with the solenoid plug in , then the solenoid is faulty. but if water comes while solenoid is powered -on , check the position of the icemaker lever. if it is on off position icemaker timer won't activate icemaker water supply valve..move icemaker lever to on and check for water pouring into the icemaker tray' if no water comes out . change the icemaker timer. thanks.

Rainbird troubleshooting

It is likely the water pressure is low (perhaps a leak in the irrigation pipe) or simply the spring is stuck. Wonder if you have more than one sprinkler connected and if all are having the same problem.

What model number of timer? I have to see exactly which timer you have to answer question.
What wire goes where?
Are you using 120Volts?
What is output voltage of timer?
What voltage is solenoid? 24Volt or 120Volt?

Re-post question with model number so expert can read manual alongside you. Otherwise it is guesswork trying to match your description to a timer.

How do I install a T8845pv sprinkler timer. What do I attach to the two yellow wires

http://www.intermatic.com/~/media/files/intermatic/products/instructions/timers/t8845pv%20-%20english.ashx

The timer is used to power a low-voltage sprinkler solenoid valve.
A solenoid is an electrical switch that opens and closes a gas line or water line.

The yellow wires go to your sprinkler system solenoid valve.
The solenoid is the valve that turns water on-and-off.

The 120Volt electric cable that runs the timer connects to the Line and Neutral terminals.
Black to Line terminal, white to neutral terminal

The clock repeats each 24 hours.
Lift and rotate dial until current time lines up with silver pointer

The skipper wheel has pins >> press pin down for each day you do not want watering
Rotate skipper wheel counterclockwise until current day lines up with 14 arrow

Put tripper pins on yellow dial
Each pin represents 12 minutes of watering
To water for 48 minutes, put in 4 consecutive pins
Put pins on wheel at the time you want watering to take place.
To water twice a day, put pins at two different times, and do not put any pins between those times.

I have a Orbit 57161 Sprinkler System 6-Station Standard Indoor Mounted Control Timer with rainbird sprinklers the issue that I have is the sprinklers stay on and don;t turn off.what do i do?

Manual:

Website:
http://www.orbitonline.com/products/Timers/02/01/19/671/
Tech service 1-800-488-6156
Timer has 4 year warranty

The manual has troubleshooting

Looking through the manual I can see potential trouble areas:
-Water pressure too high > 60 psi is ordinary household pressure > order Brady BTG pressure gauge that connects to hose
-Overlapping times are 'stacked' by timer ... but 'more than one start time' is listed as cause of stations turning on when not supposed to >> reset and re-program timer, make chart of on-off times
-Weak or missing AA batteries >> clean terminal inside timer and replace batteries
-Hard water deposits or unfiltered water clogging water valve (water softeners frequently have this problem) >>> see if vinegar or CLR cleaner can help flush water valve >>> add sediment filter in front of timer
-Look at screen > does display show Manual? As in manual mode2322052.jpg
-Fuse blown
-Bad solenoid
-A combination of problems listed above with sediment -or- solenoid as main suspects

All but one stattion is coming on. What can I do to resolve this problem. Thank You

Check wiring first, swap wires from firing station to dead one and check if it works on swap wires. If previously non-working one is working and new one is not - problem is with station. You need to fiddle with settings to try to fix it, or most probably replace the unit.

If "dead" section still do not pump, check wiring to the solenoid valve and solenoid valve itself. If these are correct, blocked pipe will be responcible.

In case of blocked pipe, unscrew all sprinkles on affected line, allow full water pressure to flow for few second, reduce pressure to light flow and under this slight pressure re-install sprinklers, starting from closest to the main supply.

Hope this short preview will allow you to solve the problem with your lawn... there is of course another solution: put concrete on it and paint it green :-)

KitchenAid KUDP01DLWH6 dishwasher filter clog

Follow the main water supply line. It goes to a solenoid valve which is normally located front left side under the dishwasher.

1. Turn off the main circuit breaker for the dishwasher.
2. Turn off Water supply to the dishwasher.
3. Remove lower front panel.
4. Remove Water supply line from solenoid.
5. remover wire connections from solenoid.
6. Remove 2 mounting screws from solenoid.
7. Take solenoid valve out.
8. Look inside the valve where the water supply line was connect to, You will be able to see the filter. it is just a screen and you can easily clean it.

Good Luck

Sprinkler system problem.

the bleeders or solenoids are probably open or loose on all the zone valves.close each of the bleeders and the water in each zone will stop. The zone valves are usually installed ad part of a manifold enclosed in a green box installed flush to the grade or grass. Pull the cover off to expose the zone valves
