Powers up but wont start - Samsung DV419AE Dryer

If door is open , interior lights may be on and killing the battery. The door switch may be bad and that may be why the door wont close.

Has the battery been load tested? I sure sounds like a defective battery.

THE STARTER SOLENOID CAN BE DEFECTIVE AND GIVE THIS PROBLEM. OFTEN WHEN IT IS DEFECTIVE IT WILL MEARLY GIVE A CLICK WHEN YOU TRY TO START.

Did you check the relay? Maybe swap it with another and see if that works.

might pay to check the brushes inside the startermotor, and check connections to it.

do you know if you have an anti-thieft device in your car. sounds like it may be armed and connected to your battery.

Wont turn over are you sure as wont start is differant than wont run
Wont start could be Battery/starter/or engine siezed.
Wont run is not the same,,, that could be lacking power /low on oil/water/ Fuel/or even engine lacking power like down on compression which is all the above plus more ....

I also had this problem with mine. There's a main power cable that runs to the battery. The bolt was completely corroded, so there was no connection = no power to start the truck. Check that, it'll cost ya less than 5 bucks to fix.
