I want upgrade my memory in my Acer Aspire mod. 1694 WLMi, how to do that and which kind of memory I mast buy?

As I don't know what current Acer Aspire One model type you have, I can not advice upgrade for memory.
As far as I know the AoA150, you'd have to open the entire laptop just to reach the memory and upgrade it.
The AOA150 has a kind of build in RAM on the mainboard BUT has a additional slot where you can add additional memory.

also your videocard can be upgraded to any kind

i dont think it has..you can then buy a VGA to RCA for the regulatr TV(should work for both the TVs)

you may have a faulty laser in your drive, the best solution will be to try and use another known good working drive in your machine, by doing this you will out find if the fault is with the drive or the the software/mother board.

You can only use components compatible with Aspire series computers. Before you choose new components, please ask your authorized Acer dealer whether the part will operate within your Aspire series system. This is noted in your manual pg. 6.
Compatible memory for your Acer. Don't forget your Acer uses an intergrated graphics card that uses your system memory to function.

just look for notebook memory type ddr2, ddr2 all have the same amout of pins, you will have to remove one of the sticks of ram and replace with a 1GB or remove both and fit 2 x 1GB sticks.

Some device may not have Vista drivers or the drivers are still beta and they dont work always perfectly. Check which kind of wireless adapter is present on your laptop from device manager on XP. Then try downloading Vista drivers for your wireless adapter form wireless card factory website, and install them on Vista.
