My monitor takes long time to come on why

Your power supply board has a "flakey" capacitor on it.

It will soon fail, I can guarantee you that. The replacement component is likely less than a dollar, but figuring out which one it is can take a bit of sleuthing.

Try blowing hot air from the hair-dryer into the back when powering it on, it should speed things up a bit.

The solution is to have it repaired. The "Fixya" here is DON'T TURN IT OFF, because then you won't have to worry about it turning back on!

I have a monitor that I have been using the hair-dryer "trick" on for YEARS.

If I reboot the computer, and the monitor is already hot, I have to wait for it to cool before the hair-dryer trick will work again.

Have fun!

How do I remove the lint from my hair dryer babyliss pro

Should be a screen that twists off. You can use a toothbrush to scrub the gunk off the screen, but you might need a mild cleaner, like window cleaner, to dissolve it. Scrub it a bit, rinse with water, let it dry.
When I do repairs, that's one thing I always do: clean the crud out of the lint screen!

My blackberry curve 8350 i got wet and it does not work. What to do to fix?

Once a piece of electronic equipment gets wet, you need to disassemble it, remove the battery and dry it carefully using a lint free cloth. Then use a hair dryer to dry it out. Do not put the hair dryer too close as you could overheat and damage the item. If you wait too long to do this, the water may have already fatally damaged your phone. Good luck!

Dark Screen, Lense focus gone and error code: E61:00 - Help!

In this situation (salt water) best thing is rinsing the equipment immadiatelly with tap water and drying it throughly and quickly (with hair dryer etc.) But its been three days, so the internal circuitry and metallic mechanisms are most probably affected from salt water since its highly corrosive. Now, you can send it to your dealer/camera manufacturer for throughly check and repair. I believe nothing you can do right now. And its probably still damp inside, means still affecting by corrosive salt water if you did not already dry it throughly.

No water from water spout

See if there is a sediment screen at the inlet to the filter from the faucet and see if it's obstructed or clogged. Obviously, make sure you are using the correct filter cartridge and that the filter discharge is also clean.

Liquid in Main LCD Screen

Not a lot you can do for this problem, you could try taking all the removal bits off the phone, and drying them with a hair dryer on
low heat.
The chances are something will be fused in the phone.
AC/DC power and water don't go together.
Sorry I just noticed the date. A bit late, but you can change the LCD. It's easy to do and cheap to buy.
