Question about A4tech IRW 5 Mouse

1 Answer

Logitech wireless optical mouse caused window to jump back to starting window. True if opened a folder then subfolders, or when surfing the net. Like hitting the backspace key. In Word doc, cursor would stick in upper left corner. Pulled it and stuck on old mouse to solve the problem. Batteries are fresh. Drivers up to date, as are all windows software. Any clue how to get it wrorking again? It's been great for over a year or maybe two.

You might want to clean underside of mouse with a non- abrasive solution . and soft cloth, micro fiber if possible. Then if necessary unplug device reboot, and re install with your product cd. not much else i could recomend.

I can't find your keyboard, but there again I don't have all the details so, if you'd like to start here :-

http://www.logitech.com/en-us/support_downloads/

Enter the required options to get to your particular keyboard, you should be able to find out if there's a relevent driver for you.

My Logitech LX5 wireless optical mouse has never worked properly

hi im josh in cebu phils.may i help you? Friend try my gathered solutions. This problem has a simple solution—replace your batteries! Low batteries in a wireless device will cause all sorts of problems. In a mouse, this typically means that the cursor slows down, jerks around, or seems to hit an invisible wall. Fresh batteries should fix things right up.
If new batteries don't fix the problem, you have some sort of wireless interference. Try moving the wireless receiver to a new position—preferably away from other wireless devices (wireless network adapters/base stations, cordless phones, baby monitors, and the like). If interference continues, see if you can change transmitting/receiving channels on one of the devices, or consider turning off the interfering device while you're computing. Good luck friend hope i helped you.

Jumping mouse

I would take canned air and blow out the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse. You could also try changing out the mouse pad. Most times when this happens something is causing the optical sensor to sense the wrong movement...i.e. dust, dirt, crumbs. Make sure to give it a thorough cleaning. Maybe use a little Isopropyl Alcohol on the sensor with a foam swab.
