Hp webcam driver for compaq 6735b won't install

NO OS stated, are we to guess OS , windows what.
XP ,vista or 7
32bit and 64bit for 6 OS delivered while produced.
or W10 with the Free W10 upgrade, must I guess more?

what did it have new. XP? 32bit (x86)
then what do you have now, see? we cant guess what upgrades means. or updated. (windows update?)
compaq can be super old or up to 2013
lets see what your is.

camera the one built in to the screen top bezel that cam?
or added cam? or some USB camera> ?
here is your support page at HP real. we are not HP here.

HP drivers are smart, they flat refuse to load on wrong pc
wrong OS or wrong camera. or PC is 64bit and you ran 32 drivers, by DESIGN.
see? my guess wrong all that. 1 or more....
see that?

if hp camera (built in)
click os here. and bits (above link has all that)
then go get your driver,
its that simple.

lets pretend , its xp 32
under multi media.

in all cases when any PC fails for any reasons like this
1 thing bad, or 2.
we go to device manager,
and click view, show hidden devices
do you see anything there with yellow, red marks or errors.
we do that to see if some drivers were deleted.
or worse, a new OS installed and many are now wrong or missing.
do that first. make sure all drivers on the HP page are loaded
for sure the grapics and camera , and the first 8 on the HP sites driver page,

look for a softpaq, to autoload all that.
or run the newer

Olypus Stylus 790SW camera is not recognized by computer and cannot download pictures. This happens after it was upgraded to Windows Vista.

Its possible that the drivers camera dont work with Vista OS; try to check if your model have this diver to donwload, if not, juts take the SD card and connected with some SD external reader.

My camera it not support for win 7, 32bit, please tell me why not thanks

The Computer model VGNFJ270/B was shipped with XP OS and Sony had provided an upgrade path to Windows Vista. Sony does not recommend installing any other OS in the computer, as they are the OEM manufacturer of the product, they will know which features may fail to work with a new environment.
The drivers are tested to work with XP and Vista environment.

However, as we have seem that Vista drivers had generally worked with Windows 7 OS, I would suggest that you try installing the Vista Drivers for the camera and check if it helps:

Install VAIO® Camera Capture Utility:

Then, install Sony® Camera Filter Driver Update

And install VAIO® Camera Utility Update

I have a built in webcam on my HP 6730s laptop. It used to work good before, but since about a year it's not working properly. When I try to use it on Skype or Msn it says that there's no camera...

sure there is, the HP book called operators guide covers that,
ever read it?
first off , what OS are you running, what operating system.
and does the camera show up in device manager.
is the Camera driver loaded. there.
this LT came new with XP, VISTA or W7, during it production run
what did yours come with,
2nd did you change this,? did you upgrade it, did you do the w7 to W10 free upgrade last year, non of this is known here.
and matters first. this.
so lets say its W7 then and now.... ok.
here are the 2 steps to camera
1: make sure its not turned off in BIOS screens.
2: then in w7 click control panel
2b: click Device manger.
2c: click imaging devices or webcam ,etc.
2d: right click this, device, and pick update,,,, be on line or it fails.

if its missing that means some one changed the OS.
and did it all wrong, not using the HP driver, disk or getting them from HP.
here is w7-64 bit (i guessed your OS)
here it is

see under software multimedia.
sp44106.exe (8.9 MB)

this file only works for this OS
go to HP there and find yours, matching OS.

Driver instalation doesn't work in Windows Vista Ultimate

Make sure the drivers you have are compatible with Windows Vista. Since Microsoft ceased any and all support for that Windows OS it's hard to find anything for Vista or XP. Type in your webcam maker's name and camera model number followed by: 'drivers for Vista' into your favorite search engine box.

Is there a way to solve this

I'm sorry to tell you, microsoft has only written drivers for windows xp and vista. Microsoft doesn't support its windows 2000 OS (Operating system) Anymore and doesn't write any drivers for it.

There was a client in premium chat I had earlyer, similiar camera, we where unable to get the camera to work with any drivers. Only solution seems to be to move to windows xp or maybe upgrade the pc. Or buy a older camera that supports windows 2000.

Canon pixma500

This product can be used with Windows Vista.
  • To use it with Windows Vista, you must install the driver software for Windows Vista.
  • The Windows XP drivers for your product cannot be used under Windows Vista.
  • Easy-WebPrint and PhotoRecord do not support Windows Vista.
Upgrading from Windows XP to Windows Vista :
Before upgrading your OS from Windows XP to Windows Vista, delete / uninstall all the Windows XP driver software first; then, upgrade the OS to Windows Vista and install Vista driver software.
If you have already upgraded your computer's OS to Windows Vista :
Delete / uninstall the Windows XP drivers before installing Vista drivers.

I hope it helps!!!
