The cables from the front panel USB connectors have a key in them that will line up with the missing pin on the board's USB headers. Just line up the connectors and plug them onto the board. It doesn't matter if you use USB1 on the board for the plug marked USB1.

Sorry, I misread your question. If the plug on the front panel USB cable is wired the standard way, the order should be red, white, green, black and no pin. You can plug it onto the 4-pin row on the motherboard USB header. Line up the plug so the empty pin in the plug goes where the pin is missing on the motherboard.

Vga port dose not work

Assuming your using a tower pc. First protocall is to get the motherboard sent back if it still under warranty, if it is not then your best bet is to buy a cheap graphics card. Thankfully they are not hard to install , here is a guide on how to:

Where can I get a manual for a sempron ht 1600 mainboard

Well Ron the first thing you do, is see if there is a motherboard manufacturer name, on the motherboard.

I believe that would be ECS.
Elitegroup Computer Systems

Problem here is, Sempron HT 1600 refers to an AMD Sempron processor.
HT stands for HyperTransport
1600 stands for 1600MegaHertz. (1600MHz)

Isn't actually the Model Number of the motherboard.
To wit;

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ECS-HT1600-Motherboard-/160943849696?nma=true&si=%252FTBrEBsRT0W69EcRrleDcPgtfh8%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

This guy thinks it's an ECS HT 1600.
Because ECS is on the aluminum Heatsink for the Northbridge chip, and HT 1600 is silkscreened at the Top of the motherboard. (Above the CPU socket)

Nope

http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&page=1&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Aecs%20ht1600%20motherboard

Those are mobo's (MOtherBOard), that will support an AMD Sempron CPU, and with one that has a 1600MHz FSB.
(1600MegaHertz Front Side Bus)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Front-side_bus

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypertransport

Even if we do find the exact motherboard you have, it was probably made by ECS for a pre-built computer manufacturer, (HP, Acer, Gateway, etc), and there won't be a motherboard manual.

It isn't an O.E.M. motherboard made by ECS.

HOWEVER, don't give up on me yet.
Once I can SEE the motherboard, I may be able to find pinouts for the motherboard. (May not also)

Do you know the computer manufacturer name, and Model Number; of the desktop computer it came out of?
Usually the motherboard manufacturer and model number, is listed on the computer manufacturer's support website.

We'll use that information.

[Model number is on the back of the computer, next to the Windows product key; or up on the side of the computer tower ]

Post back in a Comment.

I have a ECS A740GM-M Motherboard in an Asus TX-381 case. I can't get the 2 front usb ports to work. What am I not wiring up right?

Make sure you are putting the front usb header connector on the proper USB pin connection on the motherboard. You should see nine pins in 2 rows together. Check the manual that came with the motherboard to find the correct pins location.

Where can i find front usb ports with the 2 headphone jacks

well it all depends on the tower and motherboard. Typically not located on the motherboard itself, it is usually plugged into a port on the motherboard port and extends to the top of the tower or front of it. "Front panel USB Ports"

Looking for the manual for my motherboard

It sounds that you have an ECS MPC16PM-AM mother board. If it is, then visit http://www.ecs.com.tw and from the download section download the users manual. Such details are given in the users manual.

Find out network driver for motherboard ECS P965T-A V1.0B

You do not specify if it is a v1.0 or a v1.0b. However, here is the link to select which one for the drivers:

http://eu.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/SearchResult.aspx?q=P965T-A&f=Products&MenuID=104&LanID=8

What I suggest, is that you download all the drivers for your MoBo and burn them to a CD. Take them to your own PC and you can install form there.USB keys won't work as they need drivers. CD is your best bet.
