If that does sound right, that is not good, because the mic still does not work.

-right click on the volume icon on the system tray and select recording devices

-there should be a selection that says stereo mix or something like it
if not.. right click on a blank space on that box and select "show hidden devices"

-you must disable this device

-make sure your microphone jack is enabled

-click apply and it should work

I try to record sound but i press record, but it doesn't record at all. it says: ''cannot record.''

It sounds like there is probably either not enough free memory to record things or your phone doesn't have an internal microphone, if so you might be able to buy some headphones that have a mic. or something like that. I hope this helped :)

Can't record clear sounding video on either my mini or my laptop.

A better idea is to use a digital camera with sound, switch to video record and make your video with that then copy that AVI file to your PC. But if you really want to use the PC make sure that your Audio source is selected in the recording devices section of audio properties as Microphone, then turn off mic boost. Slowly bring up your mic volume with the headphones attached until you can hear yourself clearly. Cranking it up too far will result in over-modulation and distortion. And finally, remember that most microphones included with laptops and Desktop PC's are cheap hetrodyne models with limited filtering and cheap plastic domes for audio pickup. The more you pay the better they get.

Something worth mentioning here.
I have actually had success recording with Cheap headphones on the Mic port before. Not headphone mic combos, but the actual Headphones. This gives you an idea of the sensitivity of these pickups.

Acer aspire 5735 mic problem

Go to control panel and sound devices and unmute the mic under record options. To avoid feed back use headphones or mute the mic in the play back option. Audacity is a good open source application to use to record on your PC.

Line in / Mic jack help

So we're talking PC here, right?

I don't understand what you want to record. Going from the PC Headphone jack to the PC Line IN might be unwise in order to prevent a feedback loop. External (non-PC) source and PC MIC might work but you would probably want to monitor it on headphones again because of possibe feedback.

Does your MIC work?

Right click the speaker icon again and select Adjust Audio Properties or open Control Panel and select Sounds & Audio Devices. Select the box to place the icon on the Taskbar for future use.

Right click on the little speaker icon in your Taskbar and select Open Volume Control, if it's there. From there you're on your own. I have a sound card so I don't know what you will see. Look around, there may be a bunch of audio outputs and inputs with Master and individual volume & balance controls plus one for your Mic. Make sure it's not muted.

Sound Recording problem - ie. Mic sound is not accepting by C765TU model

  1. click the sound icon in your task bar then click options then select recording settings. check the settings which will require you to show the settings of microphone. Recording settings should be tested through a sound manager. 2nd find the run command in your in the start up menu then type dxdiag to check your system information wether sound card was istalled. IF IT IS NSTALLED then check it thru sound detection input and out put aswell as the mic if its working.

You've got two inputs on the DP-02 so you can record two sources at once.

Depending on how you want the electric guitar recorded (mic the amp, or direct line in) you can in the first case plug your guitar mic into one of the mic inputs on DP02 and plug your vocal mic into the other mic input. You also have the option of plugging the guitar directly into the DP02 (using the hi-z input - I believe it is labelled 'guitar' or something on the DP02. I any event I believe it's the one on the left). This way you only need one mic for use recording the vocal part.

To avoid any 'bleed' between channels you can use the headphones while recording this way and you'll avoid having the unamplified guitar sound coming through over the vocal mic.

Once you have the mics or guitar and mic plugged into two inputs, you need to assign the inputs to a channel (track) to record on. You do this by pressing the select button for the input and then pressing the select button for the track where you want to record the input. Do this for both inputs so that they are recording on different tracks. Then arm the tracks for recording by pressing the record button for each track and the lighted buttons will flash above each armed track. Then just press play and record and you'll be recording. You can go back and redo it as many times as you like and record over what is there, or preserve a take and assign a new track (or tracks) for another take. You've got 8 to play with.

Hope this helps.
