When you turn it on, hit the f10 button, i belive it is the same as the one i am working on now, and it will get you into the bios settings, and make sure your configurations are by the manufacturers book, or info, and hit save exit, this should get you to your bootup screen, black and white, and it should give you options to start windows normally or safemode, use arroow keys near right corner for all this, highlight start normally and enter, should get you going, best of luck...SHIA

Prior to installing McAfee, were you already running another anti-virus, even an expired version? If so, that is your likely culprit. To rectify this situation do the following: Power computer on and press f8 to open safe mode. On some computer's, one must time this just right; so, if you do not enter safe mode on the first try, then repeat and quickly press f8 until you do. Once you are in safe mode, scroll down and click on safe mode with networking so you will have internet access during this process. Now, go to control panel and then to remove programs. Uninstall both the McAfee and any other anti-virus programs listed. Save all changes and exit safe mode and turn computer off for one full minute. Your computer should now be working again and you should be able to reinstall the McAfee and with no impact upon the performance of your computer.

My internet keeps connecting and disconnecting whenever I try and get online?

Hello,

Thank you for posting your question here.

I suggest that you go to safe mode with networking to test your internet connection there. Safe mode is the basic operating system interface of your computer thus disabling any advance softwares which might be affecting your connection now.

To go to safe mode, do the following:

Restart your computer and keep tapping F8 until you see the options to go to "Safe Mode with Networking".

Highlight safe mode with networking by using your arrow keys. Press enter.

Once you are in safe mode, try connecting to your internet and observe if the problem is gone. If internet is good, then there's an update or software change that affected your connection.

You can fix that by doing a system restore. Think about the date when you had no problem with your internet. and do the system restore.

Start > Programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore

Select the date when you had no issue yet and let it restart. Check.

Another possible reason is an outdated network adapter driver. This happens when there are changes in the software. You can update it manually which takes time maybe 15 minutes or more or you can install Radarsync and let it update all the outdated drivers in your computer. You won't have to do anything at all. All driver updates will be taken care of.

Another possible issue is your internet service. If all of the above possible problems are covered with no fix at all, then you better contact your Internet service provider.

I hope this helps!

If you have any questions, please drop me a line and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Keyboard wont work in windows

Why won't it? What is it doing? Maybe the Keyboard is hijacked, had a loose connection or is broken. Try booting up in Safe Mode and see if it works.

Go to www.google.com and in the search box type:"download.cnet.com" (without the quotes). Click the link to goto the site and look on the left side when the site opens up and you will see agray area that says FIND SOFTWARE. In the white search box under FindSoftware type: "Virtual Keyboard" (without the quotes) and click themirror to search. When the search results come back look for FREE VIRTUALKEYBOARD. Download and Install it. It's totally FREE. Alsouncheck anything that pops up other than the license agreement during thedownload and installation. You only want the Free Keyboard and not theother junk.

You can use it to solve your keyboard problem. Just open up whatever it is youwant to type on such as the web address in an browser, a word document, etc.,then open the Free Virtual Keyboard and it will sit on top of whatever you weredoing. You can move it around so that it is not in your way also.

My Acer laptop wont let me do anything cant get rid of process tskmgrwont work

Do you have a virus on the computer. Try going to safe mode with networking and restore your computer to an earlier date to which it worked fine.( You can goto safe mode with networking by - restart your computer and start pressing the F8 button repeatedly till you get the new boot options menu)

Else you can go to safe mode and install the free software Malwarebytes and run a scan.
I have had the similar kind of issue and was not aware what to do. While searching the web, I got the info about TheBestPcDoctor and I contacted their support. My issue is fixed and the computer is running fine now. If you need you may also contact them @

1. Turn the Laptop off 2. Remove the battery 3. Disconnect the AC adapter from the laptop 4. Disconnect any peripheral devices from the laptop such as printer usb cables, PCMCIA cards etc. 5. Push and hold the power button for 60 seconds then let go 6. Connect the AC adapter to your laptop 7. Push power button to turn on the laptop 8. If this resolves the issue shutdown the laptop connect the battery and turn laptop back on
If issue is not resolved restart the computer and begin tapping the F8 key repeatedly until you see a screen that gives you options to enter different modes. Highlight "Safemode" and press enter. If the computer boots completely into safemode you likely have a driver that has corrupted or a hardware device that has failed. Likely driver failures are video card drivers. Got to Device Manager and uninstall the video card driver and restart the system. You can do this with other drivers as well.

Try running your laptop in safe mode. In order to do this, right when you start your laptop, press F8. It would then take you to a screen that has an option that says "Safe Mode". Run the laptop in safe mode, and then go to system tools and try running the system restore tool.

Make sure the laptop is not connected to the internet so turn off the wireless adapter or don't connect any network cable to it.

You may be infected with a virus. THe conficker is the latest threat and it prevents you from accessing AV sites. Symantec has a removal tool for the conficker (aka downadup). You need somebody to put it on a CD, and then run the CD on your machine

Hi
It seems that your computer is infected with a spyware. I will give you some steps to try and resolve this.

Step - ( This will remove spy wares from the computer )
Open this link and download Free superantispyware
http://www.superantispyware.com/
Scan your computer with this and clean it.

If it does not let you download this, you need to try this in the "Safe mode with Networking"

Step to go to "Safe mode with Networking"
Turn off the computer. As soon as you turn it on start tapping the key "F8" untill you get a black screen with options of "Safe mode" and "Safe mode with Networking", select the second one and than log on to the computer.

Your display will be big and distorted in safe mode, dont worry as its a diagnostics mode.
Once downloaded the software you might need to rung the software in normal mode as sometimes this software does not work in the safe mode.
To get back to the normal mode. Simply restart your computer.

Hope this should take care of your issue.
