  • hrblk3 Apr 15, 2009

the old speakers are part of he tv the are built in, no acses to the wiring of these speakers is available. and he new speakers are xternal in the cieling, thanks

The old ones are on a delay because the New ones are in a different jack (and from what I understand) leading to a receiver, which usally causes a slight delay. (all the different places the wires have to go in the receiver before going to the speakers). Sorry, not much you can do, unless you stop using the old tv speakers.......this wasn't much help, was it?

  • Nicholasgray May 11, 2010

Well, I meant are the new and the old speakers plugged into the same output jack?

  • Nicholasgray May 11, 2010

Are your new speakers plugged into a receiver?

Where exactly are the new and old speakers plugged in?

Distance of where the ceiling speakers are mounted and where the TV is a factor. Sounds takes time to travel through the air. What you are hearing is a time delay most likely. Hope this helps.

Inside of most TV sets is very dangerous 30KV circuits, so get tech in, do not go inside. On the delay problem go into menus and find speaker menu , look for options on external speakers. There should be controls for setting up vol, tone ,bal, delay.

Is there any way to fix blown speakers on toshiba TV/DVD Combo MD20F52?

Replace the speakers, or use external speakers if there is a place to connect them.
It would be unusual for more than 1 speaker to go bad at the same time.
I would suspect the sound amplifier inside the TV. If the TV has Audio output connections, you can hook them to anything in your house that has an audio input.(stereo, boombox, computer, etc)

The fan doesnt work

and nothing is there a fan motor available.

Did you mean " and nowheres is their a fan motor available"???

THat leaves you with 4 options.
1. prehaps the switch to the fan is not giving the fan any electricity when you turn the switch 'on'
2. prehaps there is a bad wiring connection to the fan and the repair is as simple as fixing the supply wiring.
You need to make sure that the fan is getting electricity before saying ,I have a bad motor. You could have a bad on/off switch or wiring to the switch or to the fan.
if you do have electricity going into the fan motor.
1. disassemble , repair, and reassemble the fan motor. That assumes that you can get repair parts and already know how to fix cieling fan motors or can even find a ceiling fan repairman.
I think cieling fan repair is a decesed industry[the job died because of lack of customers] like tv repair and microwave repaair, dead professions.
Many things from china are made as one shots[if they done work on the first shot, they never will because there are no replacement parts available in the usa. You have to fly to china to buy parts.
2. buy a new cieling fan from amazon.com

simply put .no. the only way of doing this is to have a tech run a line inside the tv to the speakers using a 3.5 mil phono jack with speaker cut off

I have a new house that had speakers built into the cieling. I bought an onkyo to push all eight speakers. the reciever went into protect mode. i had an old reciever and hooked four speakers to the onkyo...

you can check them with a ohm meter, hook it to the wires that you hook to the reciever and if you get a reading it is good if no reading it is bad wires

Onkyo system

you have a shortcut, u need to verify ur speakers and the cables of all speakers, doit in this way:
1: remove all speakers cables from the amp.
2: connect 1 cable (this mean 1 speaker) only 1 each time and go to step 3..
3: turn on the amp, and increase the volume and see if this pass from the 41, the speaker that u r checking is fine.
4: doit with each speaker cable, this way u can check if the problem is a cable or speaker.

if in all speaker u have the same problem, means that the prob is inside the amp, and must be the toroid or maybe some one drop a clip or a metallic objet inside.

u can clean it, just buy an air spray (only compressed air) usually the spray has a little mouth with this u can introduce in the air breath of the amp, and clean it ( be sure to do it with the amp in horizontal way couse the spray sometimes spit cold water and can damage the amp.

if u try all and still the same i think u must take it to a service center.

good luck!!!

Can I hook my TV directly up to Bose 201 speakers?

It depends on the TV audio output connections. Most TVs have low level audio outputs (RCA Jacks) that require a amp but some do have external speaker connections. You will have to refer to your manual or check the back of the set.

Audio output not working

I had what may have been a similar problem and even talked to Westinghouse to see what I was doing wrong. Woman suggested there was a problem with the audio output port and suggested I exchange tv for another one. When the new one had the same problem, I discovered that to get audio out requires the volume to be turned way up on the tv (set speaker preference to external only if you don't want sound from tv speakers as well). If you have a digital optical connection on both the tv and the home theater, the sound output is independent from the tv setting and is easier to work with.

No speakers?

if you are trying to get rid of all the speakers & just hooking up the sound to the tv speakers, what you need to look for on the back of the dvd system is you need to find an audio out. I know the is one or two audio input, but I do not think there are any audio outputs. I don'e think you can get sound out of this system without your speakers hooked up. sorry.
