Question about BenQ W10000 Projector
The color wheel on my BenQ W1000 is broken. Can I replace this part or is this something that an expert needs to replace. If an expert, any recommendations in the NJ area?

SOURCE: shattered color wheel
The color wheels for these projectors can run anywhere from $50-$150 plus installation. With projectors now in the 3-400 range it may actually cost less to replace instead of repair.

as for a replacement colorwheel, try http://online.projectordoctor.com/. as for putting it back together, just reverse the order of the dismantle. general rule of thumb: larger thread screws go into plastic, smaller thread screws go into metal.
