The remote does not have a "Mute" button, what button do I press?

Look for the get codes for my device link and your all set ! Also look at the user manual pdf to learn how to program the codes into the remote !

hi i have the same exact remote and i've been looking for the codes and none of them work but if you feel like taking 5 or 10 minutes out of your day to reprogram your universal remote this is the manual way to do it without a code:

Programming with Code Search Button

1. Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.

2. Press and hold Code Search button until the red indicator stays on. Release the Code Search button.

3. Press and release the desired mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blink, then stays lit.

4. Press the Channel Up button repeatedly (up to 300 times* it only took me about 60 times**) until the device can change the channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit. If you accidentally overshoot the code required, press the Channel Down button to backtrack through the library, until the device changes back to the original station. Pressing Channel Up changes direction to forward again.Finally, press and release the Mute button to install the code.

This is very similar to the Phillips SRU2040
I found all the codes work from that unit on this unit.
I think this unit was only sold thru Radio Shack.

I found the solution on www.remotecentral.com
1. Press and hold the code serach key
2. Press the key for the device you want to program, on my case TV
3. enter the code, I have a sharp Tv and i used code# 0509 and worked.
4 Press enter
5. try to change the channel or the volume
If doesnt work for you go to the website I used there you can download a document with all the different codes.

how do you "punch through" the volume?

I lost the remote and it is so annoying to have to switch to TV when I need to change the volume

I remember there were instructions on how to do this, but it's not posted as part of the codes.
