My web cam dont work with yahoo massenger

most webcam driver not compatible or digitally signed for win7 it can be fix without installing driver you just need to install virtual cam application which will run your web cam on win7 you can download manycam from this website once installed open it and select video soure your webcam will be there
you can broadcast it on yahoo, skype msn etc.. by selecing source manycam

If the web camera came with an installation disk, use the disk to install drivers then plug the web camera in a USB port. The computer should recognize it. If it is properly recognized it will work with all applications that support a webcam (Skype, MSN, Google chat..) If it is not recognized and you do not have an installation software, you should go to the manufacturers web site to download appropriate drivers.

connect you cam and install the driver for your cam and if you have any messenger installed login to your messenger and start your web cam. if you don't have internet connection for offline testing you can use msn messenger. Go to tools and options and web cam !!!!

Try updating your web cam driver from the manufacturer's website...

Web Camera’s have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.
Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.
A. Skype Setup:
After downloading and installing Skype (http://www.skype.com/intl/en-gb/download/skype/windows/beta/downloading/) set it up as follows:

1. Go to Tools, then Options, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
2. Then click on the Video Settings.
3. The camera if Installed Properly will come up and show a video picture.
4. Then, on the bottom of the page click on Save.

The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now be able to see and her to you.
B. Yahoo Setup:
After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger (http://ca.messenger.yahoo.com/download/ ) set it up as follows:

1. Click on Messenger at the top left and then go down to Preferences and then the Preference Window will come up.
2. Next click on Calling and Devices. In the Calling & Devices on the right and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card or sound device installed in the computer.
3. Just below that, go to the Test Audio section and (in blue writing) click on “Open the call setup assistant” and follow the instructions on the left window.
4. Then after completing the Audio Setup, go to down and click on Webcam it should BRODCSAST and you will see your picture.
5. To Chat, click on MESSENGER and then
6. After make necessary settings, click on APPLY, then OK.
7. Then click on MESSENGER and go to my WEBCAM ready to use.

Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
Next go down to Preferences and click on it.

You will need a software for video communication. I recommend installing Skype on both computers. If cameras are working properly, you should be able to communicate with your granddaughter.

i have solution for this question but only for msn.........i dont use skype messenger.........so first u install software of logitech properly in u r comp then open windows live messenger........click the tools>audio and video setup..then press next n then select ur cam logitech quick cam pro 9000.....n then u see ur pic on that box..then finish it.......now try use it it will work......
