Washer is Leaking Water

Hi, I have a Whirlpool washer that I noticed was leaking water.

I took off the cover for the washer and ran it without the cover. While doing this I noticed that water was dripping from the pump (3363892).

I was wondering if I can fix it by sealing the hole with silicone or something like that or do I have to replace the whole pump.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Replace pump. The newer ones are a little thicker. Hair and sand will cause them to fail, like bath mats and door mats.

Whirlpool fron loader washer leaks at the door

The water should be able to come up to the door level without leaking. Chances are you have build up on the bottom side of the glass on your door. If so take a razor blade and scrape the build up off. Your door will quit leaking.

Whirlpool Duet Washer Leaking

Hi, If you are getting water in the washer without it running, the inlet mixer valve is going bad. When you run a load, does it finish spinning and all the water is out? I hope this helps you. It is not an expensing repair. I can walk you through the repair if you would like.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks
Vic

Water leaking into tub

This sounds like a bad water valve. Replace the water valve and it should stop the water leak.

hi there,

looks like you may have a pinched hose or the fitting is overtightened or not tightened enough. turn off the water supply and check the water inlet hose. you can usually tell if the fittings are stripped or not tight enough.
