I have a old Jacuzzi that is leaking. on the tub of the Jacuzzi is a knob you can turn to chage the air pressure. The knob is connected to a white tube that connects to a black box. the leak is where the white tube connects with the white box. Seems to me it would be a seal that is broken. Any thoughts on that? and where I could get a seal?

Take the unit off of the tub and see if there is a seal there,if there is a seal there try putting some silicone caulking around the seal or where the seal would be and then put the unit back together but don't over tighten the unit until the caulking is cured(24hrs) and then tighten the unit back up and this should seal it back up,unless the water is leaking past the actual switch itself, then you will need to replace this switch!Good Luck!!

SOURCE: My jacuzzi works fine but the air button seems

Lots ot time a small spider nests in the tube or switch body. If you can detach the tube at the switch and run a pipe cleaner down to clear the web, that might help. also look for cracks or holes in the tubing.

Why doe my Jacuzzi tub come on by itself? I turn it off and it comes back on shortly after.

Hello Nellie1221,

Your TYPICAL Jacuzzi switch is a FAIRLY SENSATIVE
air-pressure activated button... (common trouble
(in my opinion)).

Quite A POPULAR REPLACEMENT item...
Put up your MODEL of tub on the internet to see
where your parts might be... or get your original parts list

Air Switch Repair
It sounds like you have a bad air switch located in your motor.
The air switch is what the air hose connects to on the back of the motor or on the box on top of the motor. The other end of the air hose is connected to the air button on the lip of the tub.
This is a latching air switch and when you push the air button it latches to send power to the motor. When the air button is pushed again it opens the latch in the air switch and stops power going to the motor shutting it off.

Regarding a 30x60 indoor jetted tub (Jacuzzi). When I push the on/off button, the pump slows down but then a few minutes later starts again on its own when there is no water. Any idea what is going

IF that is the one I recall, the switch is not connected to the tub. When you press the button, it sends air pressure to the switch under the tub to activate it;. You need to check the tubing and the switch

I have a jacuzzi tub in my master bath, and it has started surging through the jets in about an 8 second interval. Also I have started noticing a little bit of water leaking from under the side of the tub....

Surging is caused when the pump doesn't have enough water to push to the jets. this is usually a problem caused by air being drawn into the suction of the pump.
take a look at the jet(s) facing the suction cover.
I have seen cases where the water with the air mixed in causing bubbles gets sucked into the suction of the tub and causes the surging because the pump is pulling in too much air.
try rotating the nozzle of the jet facing the suction away from it. point it another way. turn the air control knob closed and see if that is the problem.
the only other issue that could cause this 'surging' problem is a leak in the suction line and could be the source of the water you see under the tub.

My jacuzzi bathtub plastics pipes underneath are leaking due to being chewed by rats. So if i fill up the tub to the jacuzzi line holes, water leakes through the chewed pipes on to the wood floor...

no there is no solutions for plugging off the jets so the water doesn't go in them. you will have to pull the tub and repair the lines. no access panel just means you have to dig in!

Jacuzzi hot tub, aero select. pops circuit breaker as soon as switch is thrown. I disconected both motors and panel. still blows. Unit is about 8 Years old. Is there anywhere I can get a schmatic or any...

Your Jacuzzi should be connected to a large GFI breaker. If it pops as soon as you turn something on, there is an imbalance between the legs supplying the power to your device. When my (small "J") jacuzzi (at about age 15) did this, I discovered a small leak that had dripped onto the circuit board and had left a deposit causing a "short". I was able to clean the deposit off of the board physically, I fixed the leak and return my tub to service.

The GFI is very sensitive and for good reason. It protects you from dangerous electric voltages, even though the danger is low.
