I have no problems playing my games, but when it comes to playing dvd's it starts making sort of scraping noises or clicking ones or if it does play them then it'll get half the way through & then stop reading the dvd! This isn't a problem with the dvd's as it does it with any dvd, Even brand new ones..! any idea's on correcting this????
There is this kind of disc that has little brushes on it for cleaning lens in dvd players, cd players, computers, basicly anything with disc player of some sort and it works great for PS2s (I have used it on mine and my freind's.) I can't remember the name of my cd now now and I can't find it but you can probley find one in most computer stores or wal-marts. but it is posible that the there is something wrong with the motor/gear assebley in the drive on your ps2 (which the cd wouldn't fix) but that is probly not the case since it plays games alright.
