Samsung T.V. goes on for 30 seconds then no picture

If this is a flat panel LCD tv, this is a sure sign that the panel itself is bad. I have seen this before. Tv comes on works fine then within 5 minutes goes blank.

PICTURE AND SOUND KEEP GOING OUT AND COME BACK FOR 30 SECONDS

One of the power supply areas are most likely going intermittent. This can be from cold solder connections on the circuit boards, or from some components failing due to age.

An experienced tech should be able to service your set, but it will be expensive for the time involved. Sometimes these types of faults can be very time consuming to resolve.

Delay to see the picture

Your power supply is going south, I have an old sony with the same problem. The voltage level drops and does not have enough 'kick' to start. It will work better when it is warm. The module will need to be replaced.

Screen white tinted, horiz lines, then shuts off

Not acutally a solution. We are having this EXACT same problem; it started this week. Let us know what you are having done. I've called Toshiba and service reps but they are all quoting a price which is almost half the value of the tv. Have you been able to fix it? We are pretty upset since the 2year warranty recently expired. Obviously, it seems that others are having this problem as well. Email us: [email protected]

Phillips 30" Mod 30pw633r37a

I unplugged it for 24 hours. When I plugged it back in it was ok. It has done it a couple of times since, but only for a few seconds.
