Question about Radio Communications

Screen lock has been activated somehow on 1 of 2 transceivers

Model: TP-326PMR Transceiver ( E0681"! in O" Serial No. 21015810 Owner's Manual does not mention any "screen lock". Most functions are locked and a key symbol is displayed between vox and ctcss. What do I need to do to deactivate lock?

Hi 'fairfa' your problem can be solved by finding the manufactures contact address (ie Fax, email etc) and present them with the problem which they should be able to answer, sorry I am not to sure on the correct answer on this one. let me know the answer to this one please I am interested.

    Disconnect the battery ground cable, Refer to Section 414-01
  1. Remove the ignition switch lock cylinder.
    1. Insert the ignition key into the ignition switch lock cylinder and turn to the RUN position.
    1. Push the ignition switch lock cylinder release tab with a punch while pulling out the ignition switch lock cylinder.
    2. If equipped, remove the tilt wheel handle.
    3. Remove the upper and lower steering column shrouds.
      1. Remove the screws.
      1. Remove the upper and lower steering column shroud.
      2. Remove the lower instrument panel steering column cover.
        1. Remove the screws.
        1. Remove the lower instrument panel steering column cover.
        2. Remove the instrument panel steering column opening cover reinforcement.
          1. Remove the bolts.
          1. Remove the instrument panel steering column opening cover reinforcement.
          2. Remove the anti-theft transceiver module.
            1. Remove the screw from the bottom of the transceiver module.
            1. NOTE: Only apply pressure or leverage below the key cylinder lower rib.
              Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the module.

Why does my kenwood TH-K2 fm transceiver will not transmit


Users Manual (download if you don't have it)
TX I
NHIBIT
You can inhibit the transmission to prevent unauthorized
individuals from transmitting, or to eliminate accidental
transmissions while carrying the transceiver.
1 Press [MENU].
2 Turn the Tuning control to select Menu No. 25 (TXI).
3 Press [MENU].
4 Turn the Tuning control to select "ON".
5 Press [MENU] to store the setting or [PTT] to cancel.

"TX INH" appears and an error beep sounds if the
transceiver tries to transmit while TX Inhibit is ON

Arc mouse transceiver is damaged can I buy just the transceiver


I cannot find any where on internet, to buy just the transceiver. I recommend contacting microsoft support they should sell replacement products or know where you can get a replacement transceiver.
