Thanks Mr. Hawkins. We found out the problem - it was gunk that had clogged the inside of the area that's right b4 being ignited. My husband figured it out. I had forgotten I posted this - just a last ditch effort on my measly part to help. :) Thanks so much for trying!

When you say you bled the line, did you bled the top of the filter? The little valve on a Goldenrod filter will not bled the air off the top. You have to loosen the line fitting to let the air out. The E14 message means the stove lite when it was supposed to but quit some time after that. I would look at the fuel. Amount, no dips in the line, how high is the bottom of the tank in relation to the floor (Min 16")???

Monitor MPI it flashes F 13 or 14 & smells, I had it cleaned 6 months ago

The codes are "E" Codes. an E13 is no fuel. E-14 means flame rod malfunction. Unplug the heater then reconnect, this will reset the heater. Try your red prime button. Could also be the fuel pump or your fuel source feed line isn't flowing fuel.

E-14 code mpi monitor 2400

It sounds like you have a fuel problem, check to see if there is some kind of blockage in the line or at the tank value.

My light won't ignite on my mpi 441 monitor

this morning my heater, monitor 411, was running fine as always.
while it was running the power company came to work on a pole and turned the power off. it was down for about three hours. once power was restored it wouldn't come on.
the pilot light is off but I'm not sure if it's suppose to be while not running.I've tried priming it with three pumps, resetting by unplugging, beleeding the line, all don't work.
it's suppose to be 22f tonight so I could sure use some help.
oh, I have a manual but, of course, it doesn't cover the problem. I also called the company but got a voice mailbox...go figure.
somebody please help!

MPI Monitor 422 Does it have a filter? If yes, where is it located?

The Monitor 422 has a strainer in the fuel sump. Before you try to take it out, shut off the fuel at the oil barrel and have some old rags to catch some kerosene that will come out. I use a piece of plastic to direct it into a small bowl. If you stand in front of the heater, look on the right side at the bottom. You will see a small plate with 2 screws holding it to the fuel sump. Remove those 2 screws and the plate. The strainer will be in there. You can clean it with some fresh kerosene or I use a can of carbeurator cleaner. You should also have a filter in the fuel line outside close to the oil barrel. If you don't you should get one installed. It blocks any water in the barrel from getting to the heater which will cause your igniter to burn out.

My Kenmore Elite Calypso is displaying the letters LD and will not start.

Assuming this is a WASHER, and not a dryer - LD is an error code for Long Drain.
This means the pressure sensor has not reported the tub to be empty after a certain number of seconds.
Usual causes - due to poor design - are the outlet line strainer being plugged with coins, legos, panties, socks, etc... or the pressure switch (or tubing) failing.
Remove the pump's inlet line (outlet from tub) and check that the line is cleared of foreign objects.
If it is clear - move to the pressure switch. Many times the tubing is cracked - or moisture has developed inside the tube. Remove it from the switch and attempt to blow in the tube.

Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question.

Press stop, cancel twice to reset. The Ld error is when it takes longer than 5 minutes for the washer to drain and reset the sensor. You probably have a partially plugged strainer or drain line. To check the strainer, remove the kick panel at the front bottom of the machine. The strainer is ibetween the drum and the pump, being connected to the drum with a rubber hose. Open the strainer (caution, water!), and clean. If you did not find much in the strainer, clean the drain hose. Dump the contents of the drain hose into a bucket. If possible, run an empty losd with dth drain line pointed outside.
This should fix your issue!

Not washing dishes properly - clean filter instructions...

Would help if you give make and model number.

However it usually involves taking out the bottom assembly with the spray arm, strainer etc. and cleaning it out manually.

You also could try running it empty with a couple of cups of white vinegar - if it is grease that should clean it out. If it improves but not completely repeat it.

Also if you have a drying aid dispenser make sure it is not empty.
