Please define broken. It is physically damaged? Is there anything readable on the screen under normal lighting conditions? Have you looked at the screen with a flashlight very close to the screen, see any images?

In a case like this when the lcd is broken the only way to fix it is to get it replaced. Best thing to do is to go on Ebay or thru google and do a search for your laptop model number and lcd and figure out the best price.

My aus f3 broken lcd how i can turnon laptop

If your LCD is broken (failed LCD driver card or physically damaged screen), then you cannot operate the computer. You will need to take it to be repaired by the supplier or at a local computer shop. If it is under warranty, then you may be able to get it fixed that way.
If you need to access the data on the laptop in a hurry, then the easiest thing to do is get access to another (2nd) computer, take out the hard drive from the broken laptop, put it into a portable drive carrier with USB connection (you can buy this from a computer shop) and access the data on the hard drive that way via the 2nd computer. That can be a real help when your laptop is broken and I have used it on several occasions when I or my customers have had a broken/failed laptop.

Good luck!

Broken lcd

If actual LCD is broken you have no choice but to replace or forget fixing the laptop.

Depends on how much the laptop is worth but sometimes you can find replacement LCD's on ebay for a decent price.

Hi, when i run my laptop on battery power it works fine but when i connect to ac power the lcd gives a buzzing noise after a few moments and starts to go out. my laptop is Toshiba tecra8100. if you press...

Please get your laptop charger checked, it might be giving more output than it is supposed to. Get it checked as soon as possible to prevent any damage to the laptop itself.

Lcd turns off when i connect power supply to my laptop

First it sounds like where the ac adapter connects through at has possibly burnt out some locations on the motherboard, if I were you I would keep this part of the system turned off as much as possible until you get it looked at by a technician, a technician will need to to take that apart and specifically test these areas on the board find any and all shorts, replace where necessary on circuit parts.

Bad motherboard. Bad sound is fairly common and it'll hang the system when sound is accessed.

Broken edge of lcd

You're going to have to send it in for repair. They'll be able to tell you how much it'll cost. Unfortunately, LCDs are not, strictly speaking, user-servicable parts.

If it's a tecra 8100 model, the power on password can be removed. You can either make your own parallel port adapter that will short out the password (I've done that), or you can buy one (like on ebay) and that'll get your bios password removed.
