The problem might be with the actual supply pack, If you have friends with a wii ask if you can borrow the power cables and try then, if no luck there might be a problem with the actual unit

Hi. Unfortunately I think the fuse got burned, take it to a service center in your country, you can't plug devices that way. You can buy an adapter to regulate the voltage. I hope just the wii fuse got burned.
Good luck.

My wii will not turn on

Hi,Usually, after a power outage, a power spike (when the power returns) can disable/blow the fuse in the AC adapter for the Wii.

First:
- unplug the Wii's power cord from the wall, and leave it unplugged (from 5 mins. to 5 hours). Then, plug it back into the wall. (Unplugging the power cord from the back of the Wii will not help. You need to unplug the power cord from the wall.)
- This usually helps reset the fuse circuit in the AC adapter, and your Wii should work again.

Second:
- open the panel on the AC adapter box in the power cord; since the screws are proprietary, you will need to creatively use existing tools to turn the screws
- check the 3A fuse in that box; if it looks blown, then replace it

Third:
- it might be cheaper to replace the AC adapter with another one

Fourth:
- get the unit repaired

Thanks and good luck

The wii console will not turn on at all...it's plugged in correctly none of the lights will even turn on...

1. Try plugging something else into the socket to ensure the socket itself is working.
2. Changing the fuse in your Wii power adapter, blown fuses are very common and this could be it.
3. If number 2 doesn't work try and get a hold of a replacement power adapter as the problem could be a break in the wire.
4. If all the above fail it's time to head to the repair shop I'm afraid because I'm fresh out of ideas.

Friends Nintendo Wii went off - screen turned black after previously working ok. Took our Wii and plugged it into their tv and wiring. Our Wii now wont work. When Wii is turned on screen changes from no...

  1. This happens if the wires are hooked up wrong(Video and Audio reversed)
  2. The tv is on the wrong channel
  3. The tv signal settings have been changed
  4. The signal settings on the wii have been changed
First check that all wires and connectors on the wii and tv are properly and snugly connected
and check the tv channel.
Then check the settings in both.

Wii remotes

Try changing the batteries. If you have the rechargable battery, then put in some regular batteries and see if that makes a difference. Also try and re-sync the remote to the Wii. Also, make sure the se4nsor bar is plugged into the Wii and not damaged. I hope this helps. Good luck.

Wii went dead after power surge

Hi,

Please visit the site HERE it.You will find a solution to your problem.

I would also suggest holding the power button on the Wii Remote itself to turn it on, or unplug your Wii Console's power cable and audio/video cable for 90 seconds. Then plug power in first, then AV cable.
