Question about Zanussi 24 in. DE6850 Free-standing Dishwasher
It appears to progress through the cycles ok so I am thinking a heater problem? If so how is access gained to the heater? Any previous experiance on this fault would be appreciated.
Make sure you unplug before you start. I had the same problem with a DE6850. The heater was ok. Metered at 25.ohms. Apparently, the relay on the control board mounted in the front door behind the switches is a common fault. Remove the screws around the top part of the door and you will be able to get at the control module. Resolder the connection. Zanussi reliability has been lost. Noel P

+1 for the above. Followed the steps for the exact same fault. Sure enough, once i got the circuit board out, the burnt out solder joint looked the sam as the above picture. Re-Soldered the joint and all seems to be working well...Many thanks..

I have a Zanussi Izzi Alu dishwasher and it won't heat the water. But after following the steps mentioned above (especially resoldering the connections on the control module) it works perfectly again. Thank you very much for this solution!
