Question about Foxconn 661MX Motherboard (FOX661MXMB)
The mouse pointer of my computer would stop moving even
if I move the mouse itself. This happents most often when
booting up. Sometimes the pointer moves across the screen even
if I am not touching the mouse. I have tested several mouses (mice?)
Could the motherboard need replacement? I have Foxconn 661 MX.
Thanks for any help.
This could happen if the PS/2 connector on the motherboard is defective, or if there is a failing component in the PS/2 circuitry on the motherboard.
Could also be due to loose solder points at the PS/2 connector.
This needs to be checked by a qualified technician.
