How to download games on psp 3004

There are different kinds of games for the PSP. There are Flash games, ISO/CSO games, PBP Games, etc. Depending on your firmware type, (Custom or Official) there are special kinds you can play:

Flash games are small, quick games you can play on your PSP Browser. They don't require special firmware to run. However, the flash games tend to run slow because of the lack of memory. Download them to your PSP/COMMON Folder and type in the location of the content in the address bar.

Ex: file:/psp/common/name.swf

For PBP Games, you can download them from the PSN and save them to your PSP/GAME Folder. These games are mostly demos. The PBP Files should have its own folder under PSP/GAME. To play them, go to your game section of your XMB and if you did it correctly, the game should be there.

Now, for ISO/CSO files. These are Disc image files that can be played on your PSP. They're usually for backup purposes. You save them in your ISO Folder (You might have to make this folder). To play them, just play as you would with a PBP Game.

When i started a game in my PSP without the sample disc it gave

Stop messing with your PSP's recovery settings and just play normally. Changing 2 or mroe settings that are incompatible can mess up protocols inside the PSP os.

Psp-2004 4.01 OFW can't play games from memstick

You need Custom Firmware to play downloaded games, unless you own them its illegal. Google: "Pandoras Battery"

Thats what you need to install Custom Firmware.

Well i have the samething happening to me with the psp's

Game sharring works on two PSPs, like if you are playing Grand Theft Auto on one psp and ratchet on another psp, however, you can't play two games at the same time with two PSPs on you.

But if you want to see how it works, you got to make sure that you are in a wireless area with a wireless access point and select the transmit function from an in-game menu then select "Game Sharing" from the other psp menu, once they recognise each other, a short download begins and the second player can then choose to play.

The use of RAM to store the games rather than on the Memory Stick Duo means that players cannot continue with the games after the PSP has been shut down or sent back to the "Home" menu - from which players usually access media functions and launch software from UMD."

Psp error # 80010087 The game can not be started

Hi robbimic,

The first thing to check is the firmware of your PSP. You should make sure that your PSP has the latest firmware loaded. Because some games will not work or load up if the latest firmware is not installed or loaded up.
You usually get this error message 80010087 if the UMD drive has errors reading the UMD disc or otherwise the disc is not present or was ejected while in the middle of playing a game or loading a movie. I suggest that you try to testing to see if the problem happens with other UMD discs, if it doesn't then most likely the disc could be damaged or scratched.

Now if you are using a modded PSP then you will get this error if you load a game from the memory stick without having any UMD disc inserted in the drive. Or if the game that you are trying to load requires a higher firmware version installed into the PSP. You will be required to flash a higher modded firmware to fix this error if this is your case.

Hope this helps!

Peace! :)

My PSP turns off in middle of stuff

it may be a temporary glitch.try to do it several times and if it's really showing consistently the same glitch, then there might be either a disc game or psp hardware problem.try to play other disc games on your psp console,if you don't encounter any problems, your psp console may be out of the woods.or use your nba 08 disc on other working psp consoles and see how it goes...if you encounter the same glitch, most likely, the disc is defective.i assume you have an official firmware on your psp.hope this helps.

the reason the umd wont load is because someone shut the psp off when the game was loading. so whoever did that just messed up your psp. i know cause someone did it to mine now i have to get it fixed or buy a new one. and to get the psp fixed its not guna be cheap.
