Question about Fujitsu Siemens Computers & Internet
I have a problem with my desktop, the power cuts off without warning and after some time the computer restarts itself. This happens every so often, but is so much that it is destracting me from my work. PC World restored the system and put in a new hard drive believing that there is nothing wrong, however it is still switching itself off. could you possibly help me with this matter.
This is due to defective RAM. Change the RAM and the issue would be fixed. This happens if any of the slots in the RAM is defective.
I believe the RAM is under a warranty of 2 or 3 years. There must be a date on the RAM. return it to the source where you purchased that or might be directly to company if you have purchased that from a authorised dealer.
Its not Hard drive or motherboard. If your hard drive or motherboard would be at fault, you pc would never restart. It would be like a dead machine.
I hope this would FIX your problem.
Any further help, let me know.
