Problem with DVD Picture

My leno3000 N200 drivers are installed. But when I played a DVD on the DVD player, then there is no picture. only sound. What is the solution. I was told by your colleage on Fixya that this is a CODEC issue and i must install the following program http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_lite_codec_pack.htm But after installing, I got the picture on my DVD, but when I reset my system and tried again, then I was back to square one [the picture disappeared again]. What to do now?

IVA-D106 Car DVD Player: no picture on screen while dvd is playing...

Im guessing that if you can hear sound but have no picture and this is newly installed that your unit is wired to your parking brake as a safety feature. You need to disconnect it and connect the wire to the radio ground to bypass it.

When playing dvds have sound but no picture

Hi
This issue comes up due to many reasons..

1. Video Driver for display adapters to be updated
2. Codec not available.. Try in a different media player..(E.g> KM player, VLC player, GOM player, KL mega codec)
3. Check the DVD in a diff computer/Laptop or toa DVD player connected to a TV set.

Sol for issue 1: You can get latest & official drivers from your computer manufaxcturer's site or you may opt for some third party driver agents available(Google it)

Sol for issue 2: All the players i mentioned are free apps.. So download and try it..

Sol for 3: If DVD plays fine in a diff machine, then issue with your computer.. if it fails to play in diff computer's then its purely a faulty DVD.

Cheers

My DVD Picture isn't coming. I only hear sound.

Hi qfabsar,
I think you are missing the dvd video codec required by windows media player to play dvds. You could do a search on the net for the missing codec or copy and paste the link below then install ffdshow. This includes codecs for other audio and video filetypes. Always check for viruses and spyware when downloading anything from the net.

Hope this helps.

No Sound when I play a DVD, but I do have sound when I play a Music CD

Open your sound controls to make sure nothing is muted or set on low volume.
If that's not the case, open your audio drivers program and check to see if nothing is muted.
