Question about ViewSonic VG2230WM LCD Monitor

Keep getting a resolution popup.. 1 or 2 does not disable

We have a whole slew of these new monitors in our school.. everyone gets a popup about changing the resolution, but the resolution we're using is the best and we don't want to change it. It says use a 1 or a 2 to disable the popup, but it doesn't work... the annoying popup stays around for a couple of minutes and you cannot continue working until it's gone. Then at the next restart, it's back to annoy. Please help!!

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

The input signal out of range on screen persists in spite of all monitor and PC video settings being correct.

Have you tried uninstalling the graphics driver entirely and then rebooting? Could be a corrupted driver.

You can change the resolution by right clicking the mouse while on the MS screen and you will get a popup window with a few options and 1 of them will be resolution. It is point and click after opening that page

Resolution notice it says the best picture quality change to resalition to 1024x768 1 exit 2 disable how do i get rid of it

LCD monitors have what is called a native resolution. This is what the actual/physical display resolution is. When you try to display outside of this then you get the error. The easiest way to get rid of this is to set you video display resolution to the native monitor resolution.

If you look at the message it is saying if you hit 2 it will disable the error. To change the resolution in windows you can just right click anywhere on the desktop that is empty. This brings up the display properties. Go to the settings tab. At the lower left is a slider. Just slide it to show the desired display size in your case try the 1024x768 setting then hit apply. The screen will change and a nother window should pop up and ask if you want to keep the settings. If you take too long or say no it just resets to the prior settings. You can change it at any time.

1024x768 is a good setting it is high enough that the display is clean and sharp. And most web pages are designed around this size. Try it not only to get rid of the error but also to see what everything looks like. You can always change it back.

Make sure Resolution is 1440 x 900......

did your monitor support 1440X900 resolution. if yes then go to desktop properties then change the resolution to 1440X900 then play the game.
if not support then remove the game from your pc.
